DMSO

I would like to become clearer on DMSO. What is the difference between the gel and the liquid, for example? Can they be used interchangeably? And how exactly does one use them in a more universal way. This website is mainly about MMS and there is a lot of literature to support it. But while there are many references to DMSO, they leave me still not knowledgeable about the whole of it. Is there a good forum on DMSO? A definitive book like Jim Humble's? Sometimes I get the impression that DMSO is just as effective as MMS and can replace it with many diseases. Thank you.
