Hello,
Just want to say that I have had arrhythmias on and off for many years. One thing that can be very helpful is ionic magnesium which I get from Dr. Carol Dean's site. On Monday nights ( 7pm-last I checked) she does a radio show which you can listen to and ask any question you like. The number to dial on the phone is 602--666-6027. I believe there is an archive of podcasts on her website as well. I have found it works super well. She suggests an RBC magnesium test and finds that the low norm is not really ideal for some people. Results may need to be higher to get resolution of a problem. She had arrhythmias as well and cured them along with lyme disease.
Of course there are a number of reasons for arrhythmias which can be somewhat challenging to discover. A doctor 's advice can be helpful but not 100% of the time. I initially got rid of mine with a very low dose of thyroid medication. At that time I did not know that I get frequent drops in magnesium, needed iodine and may have also needed mms to get rid of pathogens around the heart. Any or all 3 may have resolved the issue. I now do all 3 and remain on the thyroid until I feel I have energy without it. My thyroid numbers were never below normal but the medication made an enormous difference. I hope to be able to heal my body more with the mms, the ion products and other stuff I learn.
Today I am at the point of feeling better with my intestinal issues and after watching one of the videos on this site (done by Katherine Reid regarding her daughter Brooke with autism) I will follow the free glutamate diet. The video was quite inspiring and a real tear jerker.

Thank you clarity,
I also have a feeling it has to do with thyroid insuffiency with my mothers heart arrhythmia. She is going to a cardiologist this week to find the cause.
Were you short of breath as well??

I just wanted to mention that the mineral Selenium is equally important as Magnesium in maintaining heart health - particularly heart rhythm. Selenium also improves the thyroid's ability to absorb and use Iodine, and it is vitally important in the conversion of thyroid hormone T4 into T3. Selenium is one of the key nutrients in the prevention/treatment of cancer, and is important in preserving healthy brain function. This trace mineral is deficient in most people's diets, which helps explain why so many people have heart problems and thyroid issues. Selenium is classified as an anti-oxidant,and has the characteristic of restoring and revitalizing other anti-oxidants such as Vitamin C. If one chooses to take a Selenium supplement, I suggest it be taken at the end of the day - after the daily MMS protocol is completed.

I'm guessing it will depend on what kind of protein the Selenium is bound to. I think the most relevant would be Selenoprotein P, which is indicated as the major source of Selenium in the blood plasma. The half life for this is given as 3 to 4 hours.
