I have not tried it for mites - But it surely couldn't hurt - I would make the ear drops dose as for a child - you will have to hold their head still so it can work its way down as you know as soon as it touches the ear, they will start shaking.

I've been using it on a rabbit for a couple weeks and I do see an improvement. I'll add photos. These photos span a 2 week period. I have been spraying mms in and on its ear.

Mms may keep a tab on infections caused by mites. But may as well boost the health of the mites (insects, not pathogens). I would go for borax (known insecticide) in drinking water instead. For more info and dosage: The borax conspiracy

Try Diatomaceous earth. It can kill tiny critters.
