Uncontrollable blood sugar fluctuations can have different causes with different people. Because there are different causes, the remedy for one person may not be fully successful for another.
According to the latest research, Type II Diabetes always involves inflamation of the pancreas, and this inflamation impedes the quality and quantity of the insulin produced. MMS will help reduce the inflamation, but going to the
cause of the inflamation may be necessary to achieve a permanent cure. The most likely cause of this inflamation is wheat gluten, or a lectin found in wheat called wheat germ agglutinin (WGA). Eliminating wheat, wheat flour products, and perhaps all grains may be necessary to relieve the inflamation of the pancreas. Human beings apparently were never intended by nature to eat grain, which is toxic for all of us, so this is not surprising. You can read more about the harmful effects of eating wheat here:

On a different level, Diabetes can be considered a defect of the cellular membrane. Each cell in the body is surrounded by a semi-permeable membrane - which controls what goes into and what comes out of the cell. The cell membrane is made almost entirely of fatty acids, which is a cocktail of fats made up of cholesterol, saturated fats and Omega 3,6,9 mono and poly unsaturated fats - depending on what kind of cell it is. Each cell has receptors for insulin, which enable the insulin to "unlock the door" of the membrane to allow blood sugar to enter. A problem arises when un-natural or damaged (rancid) fats are consumed, and these troublesome fats are used by the body for building the cell walls. Examples of these "bad fats" are the trans-fats found in margarine and shortening (Crisco), as well as the popular cooking oils/salad oils made from soybean oil, canola oil, corn oil, cottonseed oil, etc. All those oils in the clear, plastic bottles lined up on the grocery store shelf - all poison. These polyunsaturated oils are highly unstable, and turn rancid within 15 minutes when exposed to oxygen, heat above 110 degrees, or UV light. All of these oils are made rancid during processing, and must be bleached and deodorized to eliminate the disgusting smell and appearance. After processing, these oils are no longer bio-degradable - which is why they are used as food preservatives, for example they allow a Twinkie or a McDonald's hamburger bun to stay "fresh" indefinitely. But the point is, if the body must use these damaged, rancid oils to make cell membranes - the membranes will be defective. If glucose is unable to enter the cell, this is the definition of Diabetes. If oxygen is unable to enter the cell, this is the definition of Cancer. Both Diabetes and Cancer can result from a diet which includes too much trans fats and damaged, rancid fats.
Fortunately, your body's cells are constantly being replaced - and good fats drive out the bad fats. The solution is to simply stop eating the bad fats: margarine, and the cooking oils which come in clear, plastic bottles. Instead, eat the healthy fats your body requires for making good cell membranes. These are: virgin coconut oil and butter for cooking, and hemp seed oil for salad dressing. Unrefined, organic sesame oil is also good for both cooking and salad dressing. The Budwig Diet of flax seed oil mixed with cottage cheese is recommended for both cancer patients and diabetics. Cod liver oil is recommended, and a special type of Omega 6 called GLA found in Evening Primrose Oil and Black Current Seed oil is recommended. A third important factor in recovering from Diabetes is mineral deficiencies which must be corrected. Most people, even if they appear to be healthy, are deficient in the following minerals: magnesium, sulfur, iodine, boron. Consumption of sugar (and alcohol) forces magnesium out of the body, and magnesium is particularly important for the production of insulin and and also regulating blood sugar levels. Sulfur is an important component in cell membranes, and Boron is required for cellular signaling. The pancreas, producing hormones, is an organ of the endocrine system - which requires adequate amounts of iodine for proper functioning. In Diabetics, all these important minerals are particularly lacking - so taking supplements to get them up to the proper levels is vitally important.
Dr. Gabriel Cousins has thoroughly demonstrated that Type II Diabetes can be completely cured in less than a month, by changing the diet so that the person eats only the foods that nature intended us to eat. This is a diet of entirely raw food, which eliminates all grains, all legumes (beans), and all dairy. The diet will be mostly raw vegetables, though you can eat all the meat you want - so long as it is raw. Keep in mind that humans are the only creatures on Earth who cooks their food, and who eat refined grains and refined sugar and refined seed oils - and we are also the only creatures on Earth that get Type II Diabetes.
In summary, there are numerous herbal remedies which help temporarily control blood sugar levels. But a permanent cure for Type II Diabetes requires going to the source of the problem. There are 2 options: (1) Adopt a raw food diet, and eat only those foods nature intended for us to eat - which means only those foods available before the advent of agriculture.
Or (2) - Eliminate all wheat and other grains containing gluten from your diet, which will alleviate inflamation of the pancreas. Eliminate all "bad" fats from your diet, and eat only good fats - which will allow building healthy, functional cell membranes. Correct the mineral deficiencies which have occurred in your body, by taking supplements for magnesium, sulfur (MSM), iodine, boron, chromium. Finally, start eating more raw fruits and vegetables (salad), which provide fiber to the digestive system.
Unless a person is very physically active, no more than 75 grams of carbohydrate per day can be metabolized without gaining weight or over-taxing the pancreas' ability to produce insulin. In a healthy diet, 50% to 80% of calories should come from healthy fats - meat, salad dressings, and fruit/vegetable sources such as avocado, olives, etc. The carbohydrates in the diet should come from raw vegetables (salad), berries, melons, occasional raw fruits. Good health requires elimination of refined grains and refined sugar, which is the source of most carbohydrates (and calories) in most people's diets. Refined grains, refined sugar, and refined seed oils are all poisons - and probably account for about 95% of all chronic human ailments, both physical and mental. MMS is truly wonderful stuff, but it can't be expected to fully overcome the effects of constantly eating poison.
