I agree with Pam. You must take for granted that raw fruits and vegetables are coated with insecticides, and since the Fukushima nuclear disaster - radioactive fallout. Rinse these items 3 times before eating, and spraying with an MMS solution or hydrogen peroxide will help neutralize the toxins and germs.

Thank you VERY Much for your informative post.

I learned recently that HCl in body is made from Sodium and Zinc.
That HCl is required to break down and release Magnesium.
Given that many are low on Magnesium I deduced that the root cause of this low level of Magnesium is due to low HCl in body due to low Zinc and Sodium.
So, that to me means supplementing with Zinc (we likely have enough sodium in body) may be whats required to create HCl to release and absorb Magnesium
Could you please comment on that line of thinking.

Also I have found a use for Canola Oil.
I use it to lubricate the pump on my marine toilet.

You're correct that magnesium, particularly magnesium supplements, are difficult for the body to absorb. I usually recommend magnesium malate, because it is absorbed easier than some other forms - and the malic acid has many remedial effects in its own right. Malic acid is one of the main ingredients in apple cider vinegar which makes that such a good remedy.

Like magnesium, zinc is another important mineral in which most people are deficient. Like the magnesium, I also take a zinc/copper supplement every day.

Refined grain, like refined sugar, metabolize into highly acidic waste products. In the blood, they irritate the linings of the blood vessels - and the resulting inflammation is thought to be one of the causes of heart disease. Before waste acids can be eliminated by the kidneys, they must be reduced to a neutral salt by being combined with an alkaline mineral such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, etc. Refined sugar has been clinically proven to force magnesium in particular out of the body, due top this role it plays in neutralizing the acid.

Yes, virgin olive oil is a good and healthy nutrient - though it contains mostly Omega 9 and hardly any Omega 6 or Omega 3 fatty acids. I recently learned that most olive oils (even most premium brands)are not the pure, genuine product - and are in fact "cut" or diluted with cheaper oils such as soybean or canola.

Canola oil, like soybean oil makes a good insecticide. I mix it with water in a spray bottle, and spray it on my fruit trees to kill bugs - and it works like a charm!

Both of those are genetically modified organisms (GMOs)now - no wonder they act as insecticides!!

while we wait for Pam to see this thread, what she and Gene said inspired me to think about washing vegies etc.
I just made a post about General use, laundry etc and what I do about using MMS in fridge to stave off fungus mold etc.

And as I was preparing my raw vegie garden salad I began thinking that MMS in water to clean vegies may well be the answer.
MMS is used n Food warehouse and food production to stave off bacteria etc.
BUT
MMS reacts with metal, and most sinks are metal.
So metal sink is not going to work.
But a plastic basin, like a foot bath type, could be utilized to clean food in.

I think 1ml of MMS and 1ml of ACtivator in the tub of water would be enough.
I suggest a larger amount as we do not know how much CD will be used up by the vegies, dirt, etc.

I also felt that using MMS active in Fridge is helpful in reduction of pesticides, mold fungus bacteria etc.

Meat is dipped in MMS solution in meat warehouse to prevent bacteria from ruining the meat.

this information is excelent and I am in my way to become a raw-vegan althow I am a little afraid of getting enough nutrients specifically proteins.
We need to remember also that diabetes type 1 and 11 is caused by the Coxsackie virus as is written in the medical literature and that is being studied.
