stents was created by jeffers
hi everyone

does any one know if calcium hypochlorite is ok to use with a person that has stents/pace makers or any metal implants.

i have been told that it will rust them as its very corrosive and can even rust metal in the surroundings where it is stored. (fumes apparently although if its in a container i cant see how that would happen) but when i first got it i was told not to store it in fridge as it could rust the inside.

i have stopped taking it just incase as i have 3 stents from when i had heart attacks and they were put in to widen the arteries.

thanks for any help

jeff

mmmm
good question.
I would think MMS1 would be harder on metals than MMS2 but a google search reveals MMS2 is a strong oxidizer.
Stopping till we hear from someone who knows for sure seems prudent

Almost all stents are of titanium, which is the least reactive of all metals. MMS2 actually produces something that is active in our bodies and that the immune system uses.

thanks rev ray and pam i don know what metal was used

before i started mms i was researching and did email jim about metals and my health probs and i had a reply saying that it would not affect the stents and that pc 1000 would prob help, so i was happy with that its just that ch is supposedly very corrosive that set alarm bells ringing.

so its prob best for me to stop until someone with expertise knows a bit more.

maybe i should do the cds or is that corrosive

thanks

jeff

Hi, I work at a chemical plant that makes ClO2 (20 tonnes/day). The vessels that we use to make the ClO2 in, are all made from titanium. The only chemicals that would damage the titanium is strong HCl or dry chlorine gas. Hopefully none of those are circulating through you!! Good luck.

The HCl is used up in the activation process.

We dry chlorine gas by passing it through sulfuric acid dryers, then the gas is compressed and liquefied. When chlorine gas is dry, it can be stored in steel containers. Which will then be used for water treatment etc.
