testing sodium chlorite

I ned help. I think i may have found a supplier of sodium chlorite. before i start making my own MMS how do i test it to confirm its the right stuff?

Make a batch of MMS with it and citric acid and then test with a laMotte testing strip. If you have chlorine dioxide, it's the right stuff.

thanks Pam, il go out and buy the strips - does it turn a certain colour to indicate all is ok?
