Tooth Abscess

I read the protocol for tooth abscess and wondered if I needed to mix up a fresh batch each time I used it? I have it in a covered container out of the light and have been using it until it runs out. Also wondered if it is okay to dip the toothbrush in the mixture or should I pour some into my mouth and then brush.

You can store it with a good sealing cap in the fridge.

Also, I personally don't dip the brush in the solution; I sip a little bit into my mouth and then brush. I brush twice a day with CDH and do everything else notated on the link I just posted above. DMSO can be added too. For an absess you might want to add more than 2ml of CDH per 75ml of water. CDH is very strong though so if you use it, just experiment to find how much your mouth your mouth can tolerate - maybe 2 to 5ml per 75ml of water.

I have actually been using CDH. Can you remind me how long it remains potent. I have had a brown glass bottle of it in the fridge for a few months...it smells potent, but not sure. I used it as per the protocol, tooth felt better, but now it is back big time. I tend to put some in my mouth and keep it there for about a minute on the side where the affected tooth is. Brushing is too painful. I find it works okay...but this time I am thinking I need to do it for more days.
Next question ... We are about to travel. I usually take CDS with me...and get it into a fridge wherever we stay. Bit tricky with CDH do you think?

Your Mouth Holding Method (MHM) can work for teeth pain problems. I have been using high CLO2 content CDH lately for that purpose, and it is working. Takes me about 10 minutes of sipping, holding, swallowing to finish a half glass of strong CDH. CDS would also work. Try not diluting CDS or CDH so much and see if that helps. But, don't burn the inside of your mouth, either. You will have to determine what you can tolerate.

CDH can last weeks, even months if kept cold and out of light. Yours may be fine. But, its easy to make a new batch, too.

I don't see any difference between CDS and CDH when traveling. The same precautions would apply for each.

I find the surface inside my mouth becomes dry when the mixture is too strong. But I seem to tolerate about 5mls of CDH in 75mls water with 10 drops of DMSO added. My tooth still plays up though. It's a strong nerve pain at times. I get a days relief and then it returns out of the blue. I am reluctant to go to the dentist because the tooth was crowned about 6 months ago. I will persist....unfortunately I find it hard to do it every 2 hours as I am out on the farm for hours at a time.
