citric acid

I'm trying to buy citric acid on the net. all I see is 100%. How do I make that into 50%? Do grocery stores sell 50%? A friend of mine just purchased about 2 oz of 50% and paid over $8.00. That is a little steep in my opinion. Pleas help with your insight.

As far as I know you buy C.A. as a 100% powder and than mix it with distilled water in equal parts i.e. 50 grams powder in 50 gr water, giving you a 50% citric acid mixture for activation of your MMS.
