After mixing the MMS with the 10% Citric Acid 1/5 ratio...1) Is it ok if an extra drop or 2 of Citric Acid drops in the mix or does it need to be exact? 2) After waiting the 3 minutes and adding the distilled water, can I add a squeeze or two of fresh lemon juice to taste or will this change the chemical structure? Thank you!

MMSmia, an extra drop or two of 10% citric acid is fine. Since lemon juice can be used as an acid activator, it should also be okay to add. I may test the latter to see if there is any loss of CLO2 concentration.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
