Soda questions - Hope someone can help! was created by TimeLady
I asked in another post, but thought it might get more views here.
My problem is that I don't want high fructose corn syrup, and my
Mom can't have the sugar.....so here are my questions....
1. Can I use Diet Pepsi?
2. Can I use Hansen's Diet Sodas.....?
3. Would Sierra Mist Work?
4. Would Pepsi Throw-back work?
I'm looking for a flavor-cover now, as I need to start Protocol 2000 soon,
and have already been feeling nauseous at 3 drops each hour for Protocol
1000. I just found out that my baking soda 'fix' makes the MMS ineffective,
so that's out. I'm desperate for something that will work.
Would appreciate some help....thanks... Christy

Christy, I tested a few sweeteners to hide the MMS taste and that found plain, white, processed sugar did not reduce the chlorine dioxide much compared to Palm sugar, the two brown sugars and others. Use as little as possible so there will be some Clo2 left to work on your health problem.
By the way, the quest for a MMS taste cover led to the development of CDH by Scott, "Truthquester" and myself. It was Scott's original idea about 1-1/2 years ago.
After giving up on trying to cover up the MMS taste and reduce Herxheimer effects, we discovered a new way to activate MMS that solved those problems and is now called CDH. You can take huge amounts of it and not have any of those nasty Herxheimer problems and because you can ingest so much more Clo2, you will be more effective in fixing whatever health problem(s) you have.
Give it a try.

Okay...please don't think me dense, but I'm a little confused.
First, the real sugar is okay if not too much is used? Correct?
And..
What is the difference between HCL 4% and CDH? What does each do?
Where do I find the CDH? Maybe there is a more technical name for it?
I'm going on to protocol 2000 as I need to address symptoms of MS....
so it's something that must be done......whether it's fun or not.
Sorry, I'm trying to figure this out quickly, as I need to start again in the
morning, and I'm just confused by it all. May need to make a trip to the
store tonight.
Still hoping for information on the diet soda.... anyone.... ?

Maybe this new message will bump this post up to the top again....
My Mom is also taking MMS, for Diabetes, so she can't handle the
sugars right now. She needs to know about Diet Pepsi, and Diet
Hansen's sodas. I know that those are sweetened with Splenda.
I read that you shouldn't use Stevia while on Protocol, but what
about Splenda?
Does anyone know?

You can use stevia sweeteners - in fact, I know some autism moms who are using stevia sweeteners - Check your local store, I can find some in Safeway - otherwise, you can find them on Amazon or ebay - Sweetleaf or Stevita or NuNatural all have liquid flavoring.

Christy, yes, you can use a little plain, white, processed C&H sugar to help cover up the MMS taste.
4% HCl is an acid activator used to make MMS, CDS & CDH. But, to make CDS, 10% HCl works better or you can use twice as much 4% HCl if you don't have 10% HCl.
CDH is MMS but the activation is different.
There is a Forum Category for CDH listed under MMS Technical Talk.
And, there are posts on this page of the Forum where you can read about CDH.
Did you watch the short video listed here:
g2cforum.org/index.php/list/questions-about-mms-and-how-to-use-it/27125-mms-in-7up-to-kill-the-tast?start=9
That will show you how easy it is to make CDH.
You can use 50% citric acid, but you will taste it.
