MMS used in root canal? was created by debfrenette
The dentist suggests a root canal and a filling. The tooth is dead, did not pass a sensation test. My question is :is there any way this tooth can be saved after it fails the pain test? I smell a bad smell when I clean my tooth with the waterpik.
Also, should I take MMS to the dentist to use for cleaning out the tooth if I do go ahead with the root canal? Can I do both, MMS and the usual way?
Used MMS rinse for many months.
Thank you very much!

Hello Debfrenette,

Have you tried to use DMSO with the MMS?

I am in a similar situation, except that I will not get a root canal. Check out www.cancertutor.com/Other02/AdvDental.html before deciding on a root canal. I just started trying mms1/dmso per what I read in Jim Humble's book. The pain is practically gone, but will give a few weeks before going to biological dentist to check.

Root canal = no good = cancer and immune disease problems down the road.

My understanding is that the cancer and immune disease problems down the road are caused by latent bacterial infection left in the tooth.

I had problems with sensitive teeth from a root canal and some cavities. The cavities I had the amalgam replaced to get rid of mercury and ended up with pretty sensitive teeth. Since using MMS for various other things, one of the added bonuses is that I've never had any more tooth pain.

I would say root canal is not preferable, but if in the end I decided to go ahead with one, I would definitely do a full detox afterwards to make sure there is no latent infection left in the tooth.

I had a root canal about 5 years ago, I Kinda wish I'd just had the tooth removed would have saved a lot of money and also probably a lot of trouble - a root canal tooth always plays up from time to time.

I'd never heard of MMS / Chlorine dioxide 5 years ago, but what I did do the day of my Root Canal was take about 5 different kinds of antibacterial mouth wash in my car and have a swish around with each of them just before having the root canal done and kept an empty bottle to spit into.

I didn't want to take any chances of a stray bacteria from my mouth being left inside of the root canal or getting into my blood stream from any cuts I might suffer during the procedure.

I was pretty shocked when I was offered a tea or coffee by the dentist before I'd had the procedure.

I turned them down trying to keep my mouth as sterile as possible.

I had my root canal. I had a temp medicated filling. People may want to learn about this procedure. This dentist was very helpful to me:
Why I think Calcium Hydroxide Should be used in Root canal Treatment

Please note: I spent a long time using MMS as a mouth rinse, and the MMS really did not make much difference to this problem infection. I was drinking MMS too.

MMS needs to penetrate the tooth to get to the infection which is a dead root decomposing.
This is why the addition of DMSO was offered.
DMSO penetrates tooth and bone.
