Ok...my dad was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis about a year ago. At that point I wanted to get him on MMS but him being a Tate bit brain washed by the system we live in he wasn't willing to entertain the idea. Now, sept 19 2013 we are in the hospital. About 3 weeks ago they said he has like 3 to 4 weeks to live. His MF has developed into AML and about 20 days ago they gave him a experimental chemo treatment called CPX 351...I guess he is the 10th person to try this trail or something like that. About 7 days ago he came down with a neutropenic fever of 104 from what they think was some type of skin infection. He made it out of the fever with all the antibiotics they gave him and we are still sitting in the hospital as we speak. They are going to give him a bone marrow autopsy tomorrow to see if the chemo killed some of the aml...they said before the chemo 70 percent of his blood cells were cancerous. We are going home Saturday and will get the results Monday.

Here is his blood counts as of today...

Wbcs .51
Neutrophils 0
Hematocrit 26
Platelets 11

He is also on 3 different pills...Acyclovir, Fluconcizole and Levofloxacin.

Anyway, he is feeling a lot better but still can't get on his feet without help and is sleeping a lot. I finally got him to consider taking MMS seeing that he feels he's just going to die anyway. We have not started taking it but once we get home I want to start a protocol but I want to make sure that it won't effect any of him medication and have some kind of bad reaction.

What should I do? Also, I watched a video from phkillscancer.com where the guy mixed baking some with mollasas and water to raise his ph and has been able to keep himself alive. I plan on getting my dad on that immediately once we get home because I don't think that it could hurt or conflict with his medication.

Let me know what you guys think I should do, thanks!

You probably need to do some more studying of MMS, I'm afraid. It works as an oxidizer, and when you have high antioxidants, you weaken the MMS. The molasses/baking soda protocol will weaken MMS, also.

Ok, so the molasses/baking soda is out. I have been doing alot of reading but figure you guys had more experience with MMS and might be able to help me out.

Pam, does my dad have high antioxidants from the chemo or something?

Usually high antioxidants come from supplements, or a "vegan" diet - the first time I heard of antioxidants used in chemo was a friend's son who had/has a brain tumor - they wanted to do MMS, and I was helping them, and they were going down to Portland to the VA hospital there - I didn't think anything about it until he came up to visit his mother (a friend of mine) and I realized he was taking his MMS and washing it down with coffee (antioxidant) and then he let drop that the chemo he was taking was so high in antioxidants that the hosptial had him stop any other antioxidants. At that point, all I could do was realize that the MMS/CDS he was taking probably wasn't helping him at all. Neither did the chemo, and now he's in hospice - but as his mom says, he's enjoying the attention that he's getting, and he's ready to go.

Well I'm sitting here as we speak watching them do a bone marrow biopsy...not an autopsy...excuse me for getting that wrong earlier. So Pam, I hear all this great stuff about MMS and now it sounds like your saying there nothing I can do. Not quite what I was expecting to hear. Dont really know what to say.

I didn't say that at all, I just said that there are situations where you can lessen the effectiveness of MMS. MMS acts as an oxidant. Once you understand that, and the principles behind it, you can make choices that will make the use of it more effective.

Thanks Pam. Do you by any chance know of any cases of Leukemia where some one was cured or at least put into remission with MMS? Also, I really would like to gear from someone who knows about the medication my dad is taking and if there would be a problem taking the MMS with the prescriptions.

Well, still at the hopital and my dad almost spiked another fever. We gone about 5 days with no fevers, this is this first time since that we even got close. It seems they have found some type of fungus in his right lung and so now they got him on some kind of antibiotic running through the IV. I hope I don't have to see him going through another fever, it wasnt pleasant.

Well I know it's only been a day since I posted this topic but I must say I'm a little surprised to see the lack of views on this topic. I'm new to the MMS forums here and really hope to hear from some of you who might have had leukima or known of some one like my dad and know what I might do to save him.
