MMS together with High Blood Pressure medication? was created by aolsson
I am presently taking medication for high blood pressure.
If I start taking MMS according to protocol 1000+ (with DMSO) can I continue to eat my blood pressure medication or shall I stop taking the medication and only take MMS?
I.E. Can MMS affect the medication or vice versa?
Best Regards
Anders Olsson

Anders, you will need to watch your blood pressure and if it goes down, adjust your meds accordingly. For many people, their blood pressure drops and their need for meds drops. MMS does not affect the meds, nor do the meds affect MMS.

Thanks Pam, will do. I just wanted to be sure that one did not affect the other.
Keep up the good work.

Hi Pam. Respectfully, I am concerned about interactions too. The question should be, in addition to conflicts or interactions, as follows: Will there be any change effect in the potentiating or impedance of other meds or supplements?
By example, I am taking a compound to help restore cell walls and clean out the liver. Because my liver is now not sluggish the results of labs etc are all over the place and I am having to make some quick adjustments.
Bottom line: All aspects of change need to be considered. Either by conflict, interaction, impedance or potentiating. It is irritating that Mr. Humble does not have an interaction statement on the front of his website in neon. I have spent 3 hours listening and reading trying to find if MMS will interact with warfarin or atenolol.

Hemo, the answer to your question is generally "no" - MMS does not interfere with medications. Jim has written this in various places. It has to do with the electrical potential (ORP) of MMS, which is .95v, and the fact that it's attracted to pathogens and those with less than .95v ORPs.
The reason for my BP response is because there is a tendency for excess fluid in the tissues to be expelled when starting MMS - (my ankles went back down to normal) - and if elevated BP is caused by the body holding onto excess fluid, it could be affected.
We are all our own "labs" - each of us is individual, each of us has issues, some of which may appear to be similar, but may not be. It behooves us to all be aware of what is going on in our body and to make adjustments accordingly.
