What evidence is there that MMS detoxes mercury and other heavy metals?

I'm hoping that there is more than just because someone said so... like lab work evidence?

Hi, Arrow. Good question! I'll do a test with a piece of lead - it's fairly heavy :>) - weighing it dry before and after I soak it in MMS. I'll report the results here.
Perhaps someone has done this , but I'll do it for my own knowledge.

I have soaked a 0.56 g sample of solder - 63% tin 37%lead - in cds for 24 hrs.
Today it weighs 0.54 g. I put it back in the CDS and will weigh it again tomorrow.

Is the sample weight given an average of several measurements on it? Or are the scales giving the same result every time? Are you keeping it at room temperature? In a sealed container? Are you placing the sample back into the same dose of CDS or new dose every day. I presume that's plumber's solder without resin core flux and 3000ppm CDS

Hi Martin. I weighed the sample several times to be sure it returned to 0 and to 0.56g with the sample. I'm soaking it in 3000ppm CDS, just under a pint, in a mason jar with a plastic lid and at room temp - 18 to 20 c. The sample is back in the same sol'n as it's obviously not depleted yet.
I picked up a splatter off the floor , about an inch in diameter and fairly thin like foil washed and dried - no flux remaining - before weighing. The solder is electronics grade.
I was pleased to see that ~ 4% has gone into sol'n @ room temp.
Update tomorrow.

Seeing I am loaded with heavy metals in my body and just did so to speak a save detox with NZeolite powder but my reaction was horrific. Started with getting a metal feeling of pain in my teeth over a few days then a sort of electric sensation under my scall, then sort of dizzyness when I am turning and a few days later not able to stand I had massive vertigo going over into total unbalanced gaite not able to walk alone. I was using the NZeolite for 10 days 3mg twice a day. I stopped and it and slowly over 3.5 days I am slowly improving (So Happy) I am now able to walk more balanced and can focus, lucky me but I do not want that it happens again. So it is great to know when MMS takes it out I can monitor it more closely and just take it slowly over a longer period of time. So proof would be a big positive for me to know it will take heavy metals out of my body and then stick with MMS instead of trying another product. Many thanks for testing.

48 hrs : 0.46 grams
Scale was checked with a 5 gram calibration weight @ 5.00 grams
Sample has been returned to the CDS - It seems likely that the whole sample will dissolve. I'll report on the time req'd to totally dissolve.

Wow! That's ~18% reduction in 48 hours @ room temperature. Unless you are suspending the sample in the CDS solution - I bet it's laying on the bottom. So effectively the CDS is only working on one side of the sample?

Back in 1980 as an electronic tech I worked on communication radios that were ~ 20 years old ( tubes !) - the solder joints were just fine. So that stuff is practically permanent - even in the BC west coast logging environment.

Great experiment thank you! The question is how long does a person need to take mms and what protocol to get rid of most of the heavy metals, 3 weeks? 2 months? a year? Probably depends on the individual, but there should be a general protocol that should remove most heavy metals, hopefully someone would know!

Hi, Ronush. It depends on the individual, and also his environment. Most people use stainless cutlery - a source of nickel, many use ss pots and pans or worse , aluminum. Zwarovski employees in Austria have been diagnosed with excess lead from working with lead glass. Native people in Fort St. James BC have excess mercury from eating local fish . In that area, if one digs a shallow hole in the ground, the next day , there will be mercury in the bottom of the hole.
As the book says, do it until you're well, and then do the daily maintenance doses just to keep on top of it. A good plan would be to have a close look at one's own environment and avoid the contamination as much as possible.
