I believe MMS is around 5.4 (although I'm pulling that number from memory and may be off) - MMS needs a slighly acid environment to work at its best.

If calcium bentonite tends to be alkaline, that will help because according to what I read in Dr. Lisa Richard's book, candida does not like alkalinity and also does not like acid because it lives in an environment of about 7 pH and also baking soda is alkaline but I don't know when it enters the body whether it will be metabolized to alkaline or acid
