Hi,

I have a spray bottle of DMSO solution.

I sprayed some on my face and now have a red rash on my face
that is still there 6 days later.

Do you think I have permanently damaged the skin on my face?

No you have not permanently damaged the skin. But depending on the strength of the DMSO, you should have used something to offset the burning, such as organic alovera. Did you read about DMSO before using it? Was your face clean before application?

I did read about it, but perhaps needed to read more.

The DMSO was 80%

Yep my face was clean.

Your DMSO was 80% purity or 80/20 diluted with water? 

For use on skin, 70/30 or 50/50 dilution with water is usually used. 

It also makes a difference how long you allow it to remain on your skin.

~80% DMSO 99,9% purity
~20% distilled water.

I didn't wash it off

When washing off in the future, never use soap, only water.
