DMSO and Irritable Bladder

I've just ordered my first bottles of DMSO. For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing an irritation (not an infection) in my bladder off an on. It's there for a day, goes away for a couple of days or more, comes back. I've gotten much appreciated advice, particularly from Pam (the little orange pill always calms it down, Pam), but I have now read that DMSO, taken orally, is used for Interstitial Cystitis. I wonder if it might be helpful to me also. Has anyone taken DMSO orally for bladder irritation and in what dosage.
