DMSO for scalp psoriasis

Rubbed a few drops of DMSO with olive oil into affected areas.
Left it there for an hour and more then showered.
Did this two days in a row and no more psoriasis!

Keep away from eyes!

Wonder if a few activated drops of MMS could help as first test wasn't sufficient.

Please keep us updated on the condition over time - psoriasis tends to have strange kickbacks.


Also - what do you mean by "as the first test wasn't sufficient" with MMS? I may have missed a previous reference you may have posted.

First time, although it was quite effective didn't eliminate all spots.
Guess it's like scrubbing some old stains, takes a second or third try.

Although i do take DMSO + MMS internally on a regular basis, i'm still getting some itching.
Suppose dry scalp and force of habit don't help.

Generally speaking, things are holding on.
Even if i need to renew occasionally, it's more than welcome news for someone who has had scalp psoriasis for over 15 years!

p.s. think taking MMS externally on scalp might not be a so good idea.
Isn't it like hydrogen peroxide which makes your hair lighter?

I would try CDS and DMSO with the olive oil process. There is no acidity to aggravate any broken tissue and the shot glass method is rather easy for making CDS. I do it everyday.

Just make sure you use cold pressed virgin olive oil - or even better if you have access to virgin coconut oil!!

The easiest way for me was to simply rub about a teaspoon (or more) of any olive oil (do prefer cold pressed) into your scalp then sprinkle 7 or 8 drops of DMSO here and there and then continue to work that in. Would assume that adding a few (4 or 5) activated cds drops to that would be fine.

I would be very careful of what is mixed with DMSO when applying it to the body, as DMSO is a transporter of ANYthing it mixes with right through the dermis. (Cases to be aware of is say any other solvents or chemicals like to be dissolved by DMSO - like plastics or petroleum products like Vaseline!)

Olive oil in this case would not be a concern for me though, and mix mine before putting the oil on the skin. And adding CDS to the mix - works for me.

masoomi - I would start out with just a few drops to test the oil treatment - say 3 drops DMSO and 3 drops CDS (assuming you are using 3000ppm CDS?) Then is possible do it once a day for a week and increase the drops by one each every day and see how your scalp responds. Personally I would use virgin cold pressed coconut oil - but virgin cold pressed olive oil is a damn fine alternative.

@Sky, i presume you mix DMSO, cds + olive or coconut virgin oil in a ceramic bowl? Can plastic do the trick too?

Regular drinking glass is what i usually use to make cds.

Also have a case of psoriasis just below knee cap.
A kind of crust developed over the months after the soccer incident (about 3 to 4" in dia.).
Doctors said it was a non malignant tumor that could be dealt with through surgery. ha!

A few years later, rubbing in Emu oil on a daily basis helped quite a bit but not all the way.
Massaging in DMSO with olive oil helped bring it almost to baby skin (hard to attain in knee area).

For the scalp issue, my hunch is, even if symptoms have basically disappeared, itching still comes back so i think i have to keep on working on getting the inside cleaned up too.

body , i afreid to use that , i am using hair color , so is it make a problem with DMSO .i alreay spray my hair with

cds . as i have alerge to citric acid , i just use cds .
