A friend suggested my wife try MMS, she has a very rare cancer that is actively growing and our options are few (7th year). I've read quite a bit here and online and we are going to give it a go but i am concerned as to whether or not there may some interaction with the pain meds she is currently taking, gabapentin and oxycodone, she also takes an over the counter stool softener.

That being said they want to start PPSI which is a series of 4 drugs in pill form with an additional possible dose of metformin soon. do people take the MMS in combination with Chemo? any advice or input would be appreciated.

I have not searched to see if this has been covered previously so please forgive me if it has.
Again I appreciate any input anyone may feel is useful.

Hi Tony,
Congrats on your willingness to try MMS - it has worked miracles in me and others I know.

MMS is not like drugs that interact with other drugs. MMS only destroys the pathogens causing the disease itself. Chemo does not discriminate in the same way and destroys healthy cells in it's path as well - hence side effects like hair loss, etc. As someone who spent decades as a nurse I can tell you every drug has side effects and every drug interacts in some way with every other drug, but this is not the case with MMS.

Each individual has to follow a course of cancer treatment that feels comfortable to them, and my belief is it is better to combine MMS with traditional therapies, than to not use the MMS at all. Start with a low dose to minimize GI distrubances (a common effect of chemo) and work up to the protocols. Get Jim's latest book - it will guide you through the protocols for cancer. Let's hope she will eventually be able to disontinue the medications.

Also do research on other natural interventions that have proven effective - Essiac, vitamin B12, Gerson therapy. Cancer is tricky and may require a multi-pronged approach of natural remedies.

I'm always so amazed at how treatments like this, Essiac etc... are so outside the conversation in mainstream circles. We're very excited even though she will have to take it easy but I will be taking a maintenance dose with her so hopefully I can keep her motivated. Thank you again for your input.

You're very welcomed, Tony. And if she is having trouble tolerating the smell/taste (even as a longtime MMS user I find it unpleasant) try the capsule method. I recently used it for protocol 1000 and it made it much easier for me to take hourly doses - be sure she drinks enough water with each dose so when the capsule dissolves it does not irritate her stomach more.
