I’m a 59 year old woman living in Australia.
I was suddenly & recently diagnosed with possible stage 3 ovarian cancer (on 2nd October 2012); I also have a blood on my right lung. Whilst in hospital I had my first session of chemotherapy. The presence of the blood clot has determined that the surgery must be delayed until the blood clot is dissolved somewhat – for this I am injecting myself twice a day with a blood thinning agent called Clexane. Oncologist has decided that there will be 2 or 3 sessions of chemotherapy, then the surgery (the usual ‘search & destroy’) concluding with several ‘mop up’ sessions of chemotherapy.
I’ve recovered quickly from the visible side effects of the chemotherapy. A friend put me onto the MMS & purchased it for me. So today I started on Protocol 2000. Unfortunately I got some of the facts mixed up which meant that I haven’t used it correctly – will address this tomorrow when I continue with the regime.
I’m not in any pain at the moment.
I’m scheduled to have a blood test on the 29th of October; if the results are positive the chemotherapy will go ahead the next day on the 30th.
My plan is to see my GP on Monday. I’ll have a talk to him about monitoring my progress. I’d like to have a blood test taken on Monday then another one as late as possible before the next chemotherapy session. Is it too much to expect the cancer markers to go down considerably in that time? This would embolden me to abandon the conventional treatment altogether.
Clearly, I’m very conflicted; I do recognise this. In my heart of hearts though, I steer towards Mr Humble’s healing. I pray for some inner resolve.
