The vet ihas given my Belgian shepherd Prednisolone for a crusty floater in her eye.

Prednisolone is reputed to having serious side effects.

I'm praying that there's an MMS protocol for canines' eyes.

Thank you,

Danny in Sunny California

Hi Danny,

We have a quote from Jim's book about treating eye conditions here genesis2forum.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=11&id=329&Itemid=66#2449 . I'll copy it below also. In addition, in the same thread you can find Bruce's recipe for eyes that recommends using less acid for activation, which is a good idea genesis2forum.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=11&id=329&limit=6&limitstart=6&Itemid=66#4399.

Here is what Jim says in his book (Get it now www.miraclemineral.org) about eyes.
Eye Conditions
Follow these directions WITH EXTREME CARE. You can make your
MMS dose in either of two ways: either with a 10% solution of citric
acid or with a 50% solution.

For treating the eyes, use 4 to 6 drops of activated MMS in a half cup
of water. Put one or two drops of this solution into your eye or eyes.
Do this every 2 hours until the infection is gone.
Also take MMS by mouth using 3- to 4-drop doses every hour until
you notice a big improvement in your eyes.

If you cannot put drops in your eyes, you can depend upon the
oral doses if you take them every hour. Activated MMS will
not damage your eyes. Just be sure you are using pure
distilled water or that your water is clean and that the MMS is
clean.

Don’t use unactivated MMS as it has a very high pH (alkaline
level) before the acid is added to it. It can burn your eyes.

Note: I once burned my eye. I used unactivated MMS (I didn’t add
any citric acid to it). I left it in my eye thinking that since I didn’t feel
anything it didn’t have enough strength to do any damage. But
unactivated MMS is very alkaline and it burned. It didn’t do any
noticeable damage to my eyeball, but the skin around my eye drooped
and stretched downward about an inch. I looked terrible, like my
eyeball might fall out. I was worried, but it cleared up in a few days.
So don’t use unactivated MMS especially in the eyes.

I'm thinking that the oral dose for dogs is a maximum of 1 (activated) drop per 25 pounds of body weight.

If in doubt about not harming your fur-kids eye, use CS (colloidal silver) in the eye, instead. It's VERY easy to make at home; and, once you have your (.9999) wires, you can make it for the price of distilled water. (I make mine using an old 27V AC/DC converter.) I've used it to save a dog's eye.

I'd LOVE to see a lot more research into MMS protocols for the 4 legged members of our families. :) With time, hopefully this will evolve.

ADDED: If you're still dealing with the problem; or, for the benefit of others who might come across this thread searching for help for their dog, it appears that lavenderblue has successfully used MMS for canine conjunctivitous. I've posted to this thread: www.genesis2forum.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=43&id=4804&Itemid=66#10751 asking for more details, in case eye drops were used.
