My 2-year old cat had a mysterious disease for the past 6 weeks, which is causing lethargy, weight loss, and swollen lymph glands. He has luckily tested negative for feline HIV. The vet says it could be anything from some sort of infection, to cancer, to a problem with one of his organs. I am in the process of taking him for tests, ranging from sampling his fluids to specialised ultrasounds - but in the meantime I want to start him on MMS. I have a question, and I would really appreciate receiving suggestions and insights from anyone who has experience using MMS (bonus points if you've used it internally on cats or similar animals).
Should I start him on the Starting Procedure and complete the 4 days, then go on to protocol 1000?
Should I start him on the Starting Procedure and complete the 4 days, then go on to 6 & 6? Then if he isn't better, do protocol 1000?
Should I go straight in to 6 & 6, without the starting procedure? I feel nervous about going straight into this higher dose, since I have never used MMS on him before and I don't want to give him a severe Herxheimer response.
Is there something else which you think might be better that I haven't thought of?
Thank you so much for any advice you can offer!

The MMS animal protocol is in Jim's book and starts on page 289.
There is also a SCS animal protocol for dogs and cats and is attached to this post.

Note: From a discussion with Jim on health, movement and time. Jim: Funny thing, many people go for all the “conveniences” available today. Like that gal [Alexa], who can turn the lights on and off or open and close the door, so they don’t have to be bothered to get up and do it. There’s …
