Hi Friends,

I wanted to know if anyone has had any success using MMS on their dogs to treat arthritis?

I put my dog onto raw food a few months ago and now weaknesses are starting to show up. I haven't taken him to a vet for an official prognosis but he is limping, avoids putting weight on foot, slows in walking, trouble jumping up onto surfaces, is stiff after rest etc. I've inspected the foot which is fine and I sense it's likely arthritis. In retrospect the signs were there.

I want to try bone broth with an activated drop in the mornings and/or evenings.

He is an 8kg Throwback Pomeranian.

Any advice on experience or dosing would be great. Situation is not dire so want a more gentle long term approach as I wont be able to dose him hourly.

Thanks so much in advance.

Michelle

I'm planning on starting my 11 pound terrier who has a growth on her face (we paid ridiculous $$$ to have it tested...) and terrible itching allergies on MMS. I do have the book 😊 but it seems like many users report they do the MMS unactivated in their water. And it seems like your response to Astro is suggesting SCS (that's unactivated MMS right?) the same. It seems they have enough acid in their stomach to naturally activate it.... Many thanks, Judith

I've used DMSO for a long time personally but just getting comfortable to use MMS myself and now have an urgent need to treat my animals and myself for bcc on my forehead...

Michelle,

One of the best things I found to help my 12lb dog with arthritis was adding a vitamin with glucosamine. I buy one on Amazon it’s a 10-in-1 Multivitamin made by Pet Honesty. It made a big difference! At age 8 she was at the vet multiple times for joint issues and knees popping out of socket. I started those vitamins at that time and she’s now 12 with no joint problems and knees have been fine ever since.

I just started her on MMS for a benign growth and I’m doing the activated drops with chicken broth. I’m really hoping that’s a stable liquid but I haven’t done the test the book recommends to test it yet. However, after reading the success of just using inactivated drops in water, I think we may switch. That’s much easier.

I tried SCS in water and neither dog would drink it. I then tried adding 1/2 cup organic chicken brother to 1/2 cup SCS (1/2 drop solution) and they both lapped it up. I did that once yesterday and also gave them each 1 Tablespoon of the 1/2 drop SCS water over their lunch. One of our dogs threw up bile this morning (he does occasionally do this anyway...); the other seems fine. The dog that threw up seems fine since then but I'm wondering if I should go down to 1/4 or 1/8 drop today and try again? Any thoughts?
