Thank you for this post! When you say you gave her two "servings" what did that entail?

"Two servings" is probably the wrong way to state it so I'll explain. As soon as I was walked back to the ICU - I gave her a dose of MMS. I wound up putting the drops on top of some soft food which she was able to eat as she was hungry but with little strength to do so - she just lapped at it a bit and I made sure the drops were right on top so she'd get get the dose. I did this twice and if I remember correctly it was less than an hour a part (but at least 30ish minutes). As I mentioned, she was disconnected from her oxygen and IV and I was ready to carry her to a room to say goodbye with my kids. She was having none of it at that point and I burst into tears knowing she deserved the benefit of the doubt and every chance I could give her to live. AND living she is ;o) I do remove her from the other dogs when she overdoes it as she loves to run full tilt with them and when she starts to get out of breath I have her settle down to allow herself some time to recover, before going at it again. Right now, she is still diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I have no idea if her body will be able to repair the faulty valve - but I have hopes that it can. It will take time. And as long as her heart starts to get back to normal size - that's a significant improvement. My goal is to get her off of as many meds as I can (currently 6 of them costing about $300 a month). Her next appt is in October and I'm looking forward to (more) good news.
I will continue to put drops in their water - they don't mind it being there (they don't even know it's there I believe) and it also has helped my oldest gal's tooth that was dying. Whatever was wrong with it - has gone away. The vet wanted to extract it - and it was a costly procedure and I made the decision to put it off until a later time. I'm glad I did because I never considered that putting drops in their water would help. I'm thrilled it did and we go to the vet next month...I'm sure the (regular) Vet will be checking her tooth and I'll be waiting to hear her comments and/or question(s) as to what I did to "fix" it ;o)

I am so happy your little girl is recovering and I am believing for her FULL recovery! Would you start with 1 drop MMS in a cup of water or does that sound like too much/too little? She has a growth on her face (half outside and half inside) about the size of a grape...

Hello DogCatmom. I suggest trying to spray the MMS solution on the sore spots, regularly, apart from giving the remedy internally, or when there's no chance to apply it internally. My male cat had a fight with his rival that left him with a large wound inside his right thigh, last Thursday night. The vet told me that this wound should close up in time by itself, no need to operate. Apart from giving MMS orally, I also spray the wound with it, when my cat isn't aware of me trying this.
I can easily surprise him from behind, and although he jumps away, which makes me laugh, at least his wound received treatment. He's also on antibiotics (for 5 days only). Not my favorite remedy, but the vet gave it to me, recommending it. I decided to not mention MMS, at risk of being ridiculed and not receiving proper service. 5 days of antibiotics aren't too bad. And cat claws can be nasty, isn't it? The wound doesn't bleed anymore after 7 hours, and in the morning it looked clean, also because my cat keeps himself very clean, licking his wound properly, I've noticed. He's in good condition, eating with ardor and sleeping a lot.
I hope you'll find a good solution with your dog.

we recently had an outburst of kennel cough in the park and i tried using activated mms and ot nowhere with it so i used CS and the coughing stopped within couple day of dosing 3 times daily. now i add unactivated mms to water 2 drops daily as they have lots of stomach acid and take it myself. hope this is of use to you every dog is different just like us so its trial and error i think, but dont give high doses, start low and see how they go. jims book gives weight info
