You make a good point but i beg to differ: raw milk and pasteurised milk are two different things. The raw milk has lots of live bacteria in it (as i proved already) whereas the pasteurised milk has them mostly killed off by the unnatural heat/pressure combination. So the two are not equivalent.

I need to add that the CDS i use has a good amount of pure sodium chlorite in it also. I added this after reading in one of the MMS newsletters that to add this increases the shelf life of CDS (already mine was more than 6 months without sodium chlorite at this point).

However, as i bought some fresh milk today and i need it to last quite a while (i usually freeze for the week and unfreeze 1 bottle each day) i will test with sodium chlorite and see how long that lasts. I also know that if i add Sodium chlorite WITHOUT CDS i get a dodgy stomach, it's not enough to make me seriously ill but enough to wreck my stomach for a day - which incidentally i can fix quite easily (within couple of hours) by ingesting some CDS in a glass of water.

Mustafa

Mustafa,

What happened when you just used Sodium Chlorite (unactivated) without CDS in your raw milk. Did it last longer or did last the same time length?

Also in your original quote you said you used 5 to 10 drops per liter activated MMS (Sodium Chlorite) to clean or disinfect your raw milk.
I was wondering what do you usually use in the past, 5 or 10 drops? You said you use 5 to 10 drops per liter but could you narrow that down.

Basically I would like to use the least amount with my raw milk. I live in Bolivia, South America. And you have to pasturize or get sick aswell. I was the person who originally posted here on this topic and you by far had the best research. Thank you so much for write about your experience.

So if I know the least amount of sodium chlorite activated per liter you have used regular basis then I can translate that into the right amount of CDS to use. Ss you said it worked the best, but you did not know your CDS strength.

blessings,
James

Hi James,

The activated MMS used in past was around 5 drops minimum to get sterilisation effect. It is really no problem to use more unless you are short on it or doing large quantities. Also if you give MMS to farm animals (such as goats) it makes it unnecessary to use the conventional antiparasite or antifungal drugs...but please do your own research on this as my experience is limited and I am not a farmer.

Please experiment. As stated earlier if I just add CDS around 1 teaspoon to a litre and i can drink the milk after around 5 mins without any stomach issues. However, this milk will go off after the usual 2-3 days and since I buy raw milk to last 1 week in fridge I need to add pure UNACTIVATED MMS to extend the shelf life.

I would love to hear of your experience so please post us your results.

Regards,
Mustafa

I milk goats, and I have known that MMS can sterilize the containers, but hesitated to sterilize the milk with MMS because I may later want to make kefir. I think it may deactivate slowly like it does in the water. I never thought that Milk would taste bad with CDS. Thanks for the tip. I noticed that when I activate the MMS then put it in milk, there is a brown sediment that occurs.
