My cat has allergies, and at one time was quite sick with a respiratory problem. I have dosed with CDS and it was fine. The question is how much. Ultimately, I made a dose for me, (1mL in 2 oz of water) and then, using a syringe (without a needle), I pulled up 1mL of it, and squirted it into the back of my cat's throat.

I have made CD & up to 10 drops, however it bothers my reflux problem at night (thank you for your reply in another thread). I am considering making the CDS by the 12 hr. method. Am I to use a glass jar (the largest one shown that will house the CDS)? This method looks so much easier than the baby bottle method and hopefully will be better on my tummy issues. Thank you!

I just made a batch of CDS a few days ago and it did NOT turn out right at all. This is what I used and how I did it: I don't have a scale so when I hydrated my Sodium Chlorite I followed the directions for measuring using a measuring spoon I saw on a site. 1--I measured 4 level tablespoons of sodium chlorite flakes. 2--Add 3 fluid ounces of distilled warm water (I used reverse osmosis water). 3--Stir with non-metallic spoon and covered for darkness. I let it sit overnight. Some settlings fell to the bottom. 4--Poured into 4-6 oz dark bottle for storage..leave settlings in bowl and discard.

Then I followed Kerri's directions from the video and when I added the 75 ml each of sodium chlorite and 50% citric acid in the wine glass the color was almost black and it was bubbling. I covered it and let it set overnight. When I opened it (outside) it was giving off a huge amount of gas. I stabilized it with 20ml sodium chlorite and put it in bottles. When I tested it with 30 ml water and 1ml CDS it was off the chart. I still have that in the frig but obviously it is way toooooo powerful. Can I dilute it and still use it? I don't know what went so wrong unless when I measured the sodium chlorite to hydrate it the tablespoons were not accurate and were more than a tablespoon each.
I don't need to make large batches because it's just for me and that's why I don't have a scale.

I made another very small batch with sodium chlorite that I had hydrated a month or so ago. I followed the directions from the wps4sale.com site using only 8oz water in my jar; then added 18 ml sodium chlorite and 18 ml 50% citric acid to the wine glass and let it sit overnight. Stabilized it with 5ml sodium chlorite.
This batch turned out much better. It tested higher than the 50 mark but not quite at the 100.
Any suggestions?

You have to have a scale, as far as I'm concerned. It's almost impossible to get an actual tablespoon because of the way the flakes are constituted.

What you probably want to do is dilute the strong batch and test it again. YOu may need to dilute it up to 60 or 90 ml water and 1ml of the CDS and check the reading again - just multiply the reading you get by 60 or 90. that will tell you how strong what you have is and give you some idea how much to dilute.

Thank you Pam, I think I will buy a scale.

One more question I forgot to ask...to test the CDS, Kerri's instructions say to use 30 ml of water and 1 ml of CDS to test it. On the wps4sale.com site, he says to use 60 ml water and 1ml CDS to test. Which is correct?

Either will work. If you use 30mL and 1mL of CDS, what yu're looking for is the 100 on the test paper. (30x100=3000)

If you're using 60 ml and 1ml of CDS, what you're looking for is the 50 on the test paper.. 50x60=3000

I've just worked on testing the very powerful batch of CDS that I have in the frig. I had to go up to 350 ml of water with the 1ml of CDS to get it to an acceptable level. The color matched the 10 reading on the bottle of test strips...3500ppm.
So now, I don't know what proportions to dilute the rest of that batch with that reading? Can you help me here please?
Also, I did finally get a scale but haven't used it yet. Do you use the 2.57 multiplier when mixing the sodium chlorite flakes to get the 28% solution? I don't need to mix a pound of sodium chlorite because that's way too much for me.
One more question...when I mix my CDS with water to drink, does it matter how much water I add? I know with the MMS1 it didn't.
Thanks again for all your help...Christine

no need to dilute the batch. 3500 is certainly OK to use. Use 1mL of CDS per your dose - that's what we do for 3000ppm CDS. if you realize that when we have 6000ppm CDS we use 1/2 a mL for a dose, you'll realize that the extra 500ppm is very little. 3000ppm is a 3 drop equivalent - 3500 would be a 3.5 drop equivalent.

I would guess that you are using the 1-10 or low range testing strips. We use the high range testing strips - don't have to use nearly as much water to test with.

You can mix your dose with as much water as you wish.

Hello,
I´m getting food grade HCL at 37% strength where I live from a supplier, so I need to dilute it with distilled water to get the right dilution. I´ve made a spreadsheet which allows me to modify the values according to the strength I need which I attach in case anyone needs to work out the values. Just follow the instructions in the spreadsheet.
