We have a ringworm outbreak in our home and would so greatly appreciate some help. My 6 children contracted ringworm they got from a new kitten back in December. The youngest four have it on their scalps, ages 8, 4, 2, and 6 months. We have tried probably a dozen remedies since the beginning of the year. EVERYTHING I read online says if ringworm is on your scalp, it goes systemic and can only be treated with oral meds. The oral drugs have to be administered for 8-12 weeks and the side effects are scary; possible damage to liver and kidneys. I am not sure I believe it truly is systemic at this point, but clearly is hard or appears to be impossible to treat on scalp. As soon as I clear a skin lesion, we get a new one from recontamination from the scalp rw. I have not read any testimonies anywhere on the web of any product, including mms, helping with scalp ringworm. A few days ago we started the gas protocol three times a day and have also been using the spray bottle method. I am hoping to not do the protocol 1000 as I really don't want to do it internally with such young children for something not life threatening. However, it is greatly affecting our lives. We have been isolated to our home for almost 2 months as we do not want to share this with friends. Nobody seems able or willing to help with this. I am hoping to get some direction here, or at least hope. I am desperate for help. Does anybody personally know of cases where scalp rw have been cured using mms? If so, how long? Also, is it common to have burns on skin from the spray. I am mixing 20 drops mms with 20 drops 50% citric acid to 2 ounces water. Let me know if it would be helpful to attach any pics and I can do that.
I will be forever grateful for any help. Thank you!
A side note, We are not getting the rw from our environment….for sure. We have sanitized our home from top to bottom starting with air vents to burning rugs and couches, vacuum and mop every single day. I wash all linens and towels EVERY day. The cat is isolated and under treatment.

Hi, Shilee. Welcome to the forum.

Ringworm is caused by a fungus that grows on the skin. Once the fungus is established, it spreads out in rings. The center of the ring may clear up, while a new ring of infection develops at the edge of the old ring.

Children are most likely to get ringworm. Ringworm of the scalp can spread from child to child when children share hats, combs, or brushes. Ringworm of the body can be spread on towels, clothing, or sports equipment. Personal hygiene is important in preventing the spread of ringworm. Dogs and cats can be infected with ringworm, too, and they can pass it to people through direct contact.

Although I have no experience with ring worm. I have successfully eliminated other fungus infections with calcium bentonite clay. It's readily available online, and inexpensive.

Aztec Clay (Bentonite) for Body Fungus
Very rarely, people get a fungus on their feet that is far worse than
standard athlete’s foot. This fungus can occur anywhere on the body,
including in the mouth. It is terrible and causes extreme itching,
cracking of the skin, and eruptions that seep liquid that spreads the
fungus. While MMS will take care of athlete’s foot in one application, it
has no healing powers when it comes to this particular fungus. When
MMS is sprayed or applied to it on the feet, or anywhere else on the
body, the rash immediately burns and seems to get worse. Usually it
does get worse, as the MMS clears out the other pathogens, making
it easy for the fungus to spread.
There is a natural miracle mineral that will destroy this fungus almost
as quickly as MMS destroys other skin problems. It is sold in health
food stores as Aztec clay. It was first discovered in France over 300
years ago and the Aztec Indians used this same clay in America.
In France, it is called Montmorillonite. The commercial name is
Bentonite and you should be able to find some almost anywhere in
the world. This clay has millions of microscopic holes and each hole
has a powerful charge of electricity. The charge draws microorganisms
into the hole and they cannot get back out. This is another
method of killing pathogens and even viruses.

bentonite is inert - not poison, and painless

If you try it , please advise us of the results.

If the MMS Spray did not work on that , Try making a paste using Cinnamon Powder and put over the ringworm. If you have DMSO make a 50:50 DMSO water relation and mix with Cinnamon in the paste. You can add MMS activated to the mix too. Let me know how it work. Cinnamon kill everything in the skin.

Found this,

Skin Problems
There are various types of skin disorders that can be treated with the help of honey and cinnamon. A paste of equal amounts of cinnamon and honey can be safely applied on skin rashes caused due to ringworm infection, eczema, etc. To treat an insect bite, you have to use them differently. Dilute one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of water and then add a teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Massage this paste gently on the affected area and you will get relief from the pain and itchiness almost instantly. These two can be used for acne cure. Prepare a paste with 3 tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of grounded cinnamon and apply it on acne before bedtime. Keep it overnight and wash it off next morning. It will bring down the skin inflammation and reduce the size of the acne.

Another method is using the Chlorine Dioxide gas to be in contact to the ringworm. Using a Shot Glass put three drops of SC and 3 drops of CA or HCL and put the affected area to cover the mouth of the shot glass. Expose the affected area for 5 min will be enough. Never let the affected area be in contact with the liquid only with the gas phase.

Thanks Paul. I did read about the clay for fungus but since we know it is rw I assumed the mms would be our best route. Would you suggest the clay over mms?
The hard part with the scalp is the fungus seems to be very deep and imbedded in the hair follicles. Using a black light you can see small specks of green glowing in each hair follicle.

GJP, we are using the gas protocol but in a jar not a shot glass.
I have DMSO but have not used it yet. I am slightly overwhelmed about what to do or try. I assumed I would do the gas and spray off and on all day in addition to applying neem oil. According to the medical community, while taking the oral meds, it takes 8-12 weeks for the hair to fully grow out of the follicle and the fungus to be gone. So maybe I shouldn't assume that using anything natural would take less time. I was hoping the gas would penetrate the follicle. One thing I don't understand is that mms is supposed to kill rw on contact; why couldn't it do the same on skin, scalp, hair follicles? Anything I try I have to use for weeks to even see if there is change or improvement. Certainly there is somebody who had rw on the scalp and was able to successfully treat without the harsh meds, but I have yet to hear of any positive results.
YES! I will definitely post of any success I have.

The reason does not kill The fungus on contact is because fungus have an external cover that is hard to brake. So you need to be constant and patient. You can have Better result with DMSO. Use IT with MMS or cinnamon.

You guys need to know that cinnamon is GJP's own particular theory - it's not on the Jim Humble protocols.
