I find this interesting -
Nobel laureate urges new direction for cancer research — and warns against antioxidant supplements

"...............In his paper, which Watson calls “among my most important work since the double helix,” he sets forth a hypothesis that links the presence of antioxidants in the body with late-stage (metastatic) cancer. As he points out, some successful cancer treatments use “free radical” molecules to treat cancer — the very same molecules that antioxidants attack and kill.

“Unless we can find ways of reducing antioxidant levels, late-stage cancer 10 years from now will be as incurable as it is today,” he warns in a statement that was released with the paper. “Although mortality from many cancers has been steadily falling, particularly those of the blood, the more important statistic may be that so many epithelial cancers (carcinomas) and effectively all mesenchymal cancers (sarcomas) remain largely incurable.”

Oh no! Just when I thought I had some sort of protocol getting sorted.
For cancer I have started MMS and about to start MMS2.
MMS is done in the first part of the day and I try to do lipospheric Vit C in the evenings. I thought I had the best of both worlds but now it’s dawning on me that the vit C might be counteractive. (I’m new to the forum, still learning)
Does this mean that the lipo C could be undoing the good that I’m doing with the MMS? I would love to hear more comments from Pam and others. I have noticed that often a good question gets asked or interesting info is posted but no discussion follows.
I’m confused as to what course I should take. Does anyone here do MMS and vit C for cancer? (I know they should be at least 2 hours apart) and if so, in light of this information, why?

Elli, I can't say exactly - but if you find the MMS is not helping, then I would consider dropping the C -

Elli:

I am in the same boat as you are, as I am trying to fight the spread of melanoma, which was originally diagnosed as Stage 3b (advanced, undoubtedly), and I have been taking MMS1 for 2 months, and MMS2 for one of these 2 months, together with 2 daily baths in bathtub with 50 drops of MMS and DMSO.

It was little by little that I started to learn about the possible counter-activity of antioxidants to the oxidation potential of MMS, which of course, chemically speaking, makes sense.

The hints kept coming from several sources, for example straight from Jim Humble's writings on the front page of this very website, I think in one of the newsletters; anyhow, the fact that much of the world population does not load on anti-oxidants and still in many of these areas, cancer rates are lower than in the US, for example. The anti-oxidant back wagon could very well prove to be, finally, a fad, mostly something that works better on paper than in real life. I started also shifting the taking of anti-oxidants, like vitamin C, to the night, under advice of Bishop Joe Grenon, from this Church. Now this paper above does not surprise me.

My experience with the MMS is telling. I believe one of the immediate benefits that I have derived, of which I can speak right now, is the decrease of all kinds of infections, minor ones here and there. For example, a healed wound I had on the foot from surgery that was always a little tender and red on its borders, became "pickled" and firm after a few of these baths. Not a single pimple, pustule, or similar is left in all my skin, that now looks like one from a baby, and I had many before, specially on calfs and arms, add to that the decrease of toxins and infections deriving from root canals, which are one of the greatest loads on the immune system, because I do gargles with the MMS while I take the 1/2 hour baths, and also brush my teeth with it.

What all this does is decrease the load on the immune system, that now can deal with the cancer. We have so much energy per day, and if this energy is spent in little troubles and infections here and there, then major disease may fester. This is one of the benefits of the MMS protocol.

Then the chemistry, anti-oxidants of course will fight the oxidation potential of the chloride dioxide molecule, which supposedly will either oxidate and punch holes on the membranes of viruses and bacteria, or even change the metal valence of heavy metal to a less harmful one. For example, Chromium + 6 is a top carcinogen, but when oxidated to Chromium +3 is almost harmless.

Finally, as per your claim that no discussion sometimes follow after some "interesting" topic, usually the one who is sick will care, as I do. So people like us, must share, and forget about what others choose to do.

This much, dear Elli, I can tell you, THAT IGNORANCE KILLS.

Thank you to Pam and pejeal44 for both your insights.

I have been taking MMS1 for only 2 weeks now. Prior to that I’d been doing 2 or 3 weeks of hydrogen peroxide. The first week on MMS1 I felt terrible with major, very painful bloating as if I would burst. I could barely eat, in fact only a couple of juiced veg daily was my limit. I then figured out I am intolerant to citric acid! So now I activate with apple cider vinegar and only feel bloated a little, later in the day.

I am also reduced to only 2 drops 5 times daily. Rev Colleen advised me my 5 drops was too high.
I would like to start MMS2 but feel will have to postpone it because I am very weak. And yet the (not ‘my’) cancer is not definitively diagnosed yet. Suspected ovarian cancer spread to the peritoneum. Ultrasound showed ascites (fluid in the abdominal cavity – not a good thing). CT scan showed nodules meaning it spread before I noticed symptoms. Awaiting abdominal drainage results for histology of the fluid. They couldn’t safely reach a tumor for biopsy. Next week I get to enjoy a gastroscopy and colonoscopy :S Then gyno appointment. No treatments yet, but I’ve taken that into my own hands….not waiting for the doctors to stuff around.

I was camping and feeling well in early April, now it’s June and I’ve been lying in bed all week. I am so lethargic, cant eat much but am juicing, only organic, vegan except for attempt to swallow down some Budwig breakfast.
Yesterday I started eating Aloe arborescence inner leaf – growing wild here – a friend is harvesting for me.
I also take a combo of amygdalin, turmeric and astragalus. Plus Biotrace CMD drops.

I am hoping that my lack of energy is a combination of eating so little plus going into healing mode. Could it be the MMS? Do I need to drop it back to less than 5 doses a day??

One reason I was so keen on Lipospheric vitamin C is a story from my country (New Zealand). Here is a video from a documentary. Once you get used to the accents (I’m SURE I don’t talk like that ha ha) the story is profound. It is about a family who forced the hospital to give IV vitamin C to a man on life support. Doctors were going to switch him off and let him die. He fully recovered from swine flu and leukemia.

It is 17 minutes but I am sure most people will find it fascinating.

pejeal44, I wish you well on your journey to health. Thank you for sharing your uplifting signs of improvement.

By the way Pam, I wonder if it appeared like I was criticizing the forum. Certainly not. I was merely puzzled why some questions went unanswered and I even thought maybe as a newbie (with fatigue and brain fog) I was not going to the right area to see posts, or they were hidden or something. Silly me.

Thanks for your sharing and well wishes Elli, and you can call me Al, I live in sunny, and humid, Miami, Florida.

Some of the questions you pose about the symptoms and MMS I would not dare to answer as the melanoma I have, although diagnostically advanced, had never gone to bother me physically. Hopefully, it will never get there.

I never had much symptoms from MMS taking, only a little diarrhea at first because I went overboard right away. Since then, I have taken up to 80 + drops daily, plus the MMS2 and the 2 baths I mentioned, with no symptoms.

I have also been strictly following the Budwig protocol for a full year. In this time, I have gained great expertise in the mixing of the components and in the adding of certain things. For example, I do the cottage cheese/flaxseed oil mixture and let it mix for at least 10 minutes, as instructed, and then add other stuff; namely: a "milk" made with almonds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, bee pollen, einkorn (proto-wheat) flour, then flaxseed meal and berries, papaya, and banana, I then mix everything with a blender into a shake. I eat this twice daily.

I was a strict vegetarian until reading a paper on this issue by Archbishop Jim Humble, founder of this Church. It is found as a newsletter in this website. It makes a compelling argument against full vegetarianism, and I also know a bishop who has stressed the eating of meat (some type of it). Since I would not eat beef (or cow), I now eat my own home-made Sushi and some fish.

I did not think you were criticizing the forum. By the way, criticism, when done constructively, can be helpful.

The way the forum is set up, posts come up in a "recent topics" list, and THEORETICALLY, the reader is notified of posts that have been posted since their last visit with a little (1 new) or (2 new) marker in green. Sometimes those markers don't show - I don't know if it's that the list is marked based on what was posted after the reader left the forum the last time, and someone posted while they were in the forum and that didn't get marked, or what. Forums are weird. However, although I'm on the forum several times a day, sometimes even I miss a post - and sometimes I just don't know the answer, so I hope someone else can answer it. Peja comes from his experience - which is always a good thing. (Peja, as a thought, did you ever look into black salve?)

Hello Pam!

Please call me Al. My "pejeal" email comes from the Spanish word "peje", which means fish, as I used to be an avid spearfisherman years ago.

No, I have not looked into black slave. I have looked into so many other things, though.

Is is worthy? For cancer? How to take it? Where to get it?

Jim recommends it as Indian Herb in his book, Al. It's a salve that is used externally (well, some use it internally but you need a special formulation for it) - I'm not thinking of it INSTEAD of MMS, but possibly as an adjunct - you might look at www.curedmycancer.com - which is Bill Truck's website for his stage 4 liver, kidney pancreatic cancer - there are a couple of facebook groups, too, if you're on FB and interested, let me know and I'll provide the links. They're not secret groups. BS is used frequently for skin cancers - we have a thread here on the forum from a couple of years ago about it.

Here is our big thread in alternative methodologies:
