After seeing Cyrille's link to an industrial website with info about MMS I started to poke around at all the industrial sites and see what they say. There are SOOOO MANY sites that speak highly of chlorine dioxide. Dozens upon dozens...

This one is a good example about how they tout chlorine doixide as an almost "miracle like" substance that can take care of any and all pathogens

Chlorine dioxide has long been recognised as a very effective biocide and sterilising agent for both large and small scale industrial and commercial applications. It is approved and recommended by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) as an environmentally friendly drinking water additive to replace chlorine (which is known to form carcinogenic by-products).

The criteria for disinfection, as defined by the US EPA, are as follows:

a 99.9% reduction in giardia lamblia (3 log reduction).
zero lactose fermenting coliform.
less than 10 cfu/ml non-lactose fermenting coliforms.
99.99% reduction in enteric virus (4 log) concentrations.

Chlorine dioxide meets these criteria and is now used extensively across the US, UK and Europe. In the UK, the Building Services Research and Information Association (BSRIA) has recommended chlorine dioxide as the best available technology for the control of Legionella bacteria in hot and cold water systems.

That's just a small excerpt. It goes on and on about how great the EPA says it is. LOL!!!

Look at their summary:

Summary

Chlorine dioxide is a very safe and potent biocide. It is effective over a wide pH range in both hard and soft water and does not react with most other water treatment chemicals. Many of its uses are US and UK Government approved and highly recommended by many researchers.

Then when you look at MMS on Wikipedia it is nothing but inaccurate info filled with fearmongering. This is insane.

Someone should put up the links to some of these industrial sites on the MMS wikipedia entry.

It just blows my mind in how much of a double standard there is with this substance that could solve so many of the world's problems!

I agree that there is a Double Standard

I think if Jim Humble made one mistake it was the name MMS and what it stands for - especially the "Miracle" part of the name

- although there would have been no way to have known it all those years back how important a name can be.

But yes there is a ton of information saying how effective and safe Chlorine Dioxide is and lots saying the exact opposite of MMS

I believe the MMS Wikipedia page has been locked down so people can't edit it.

Kerri Rivera has switched or rebranded MMS to CD (for chlorine dioxide) for the autism protocols - Every so often, you will find someone on the forum here mentioning CD and that's what they're talking about. Jim has often stated that the reason he named MMS the way he did was because he was trying to go under the radar until he had a large number of people involved in the movement, so that it would eventually take off on its own. He thought the goob agencies would pretty much ignore something with "Miracle" in the title.
