You're right, Nir. I think Jim and Andreas have been doing it long enough that they can look at a color and say "that's right" - I'm obviously not there yet, and will need to measure to check ppms for a while. Also, in this video, Andreas voiced over a video Pavel made -
It does APPEAR that they're using 1 oz approx of each mms1 and citric acid but it's hard to tell for sure.
The advantage of this method is that more of the CDS gas is extracted, and there's lots less opportunity to have gas buildup and a resultant "explosion" He's got a decent size ultimate venting hole at the end and 3 containers to hold the gas.
The disadvantages of the video are:
PPMs in each bottle is not clear - you have 3 bottles with different colors - obviously the darker the stronger - but they sort of fluffed over how to measure for dosing. This is also (IMHO) not clear in Jim's second video - and he didn't address dosing at all in the first video. My "saturated" may not be the same as your "saturated" -
Jim initially said in video2 that in 15-30 minutes you would be completely saturated (and that's a wide time swing) but his batch was done in 5 minutes - and it was considerably darker than the other bottles on the side of the table, plus he had put in a second bottle to capture more CDS.
Using the Gatorade PPM measurement, we know his batch was much stronger at 5 minutes than he was looking for - but we don't know FOR SURE - what the strength was or how to get it back to the 3000ppm per Liter that they're working with as a new standard. If it takes 3 seconds to clear the blue, and you're looking for 6 seconds, does that mean it's twice as strong as it needs to be? Does the color clear in a linear progression? If you're in the jungle it may not matter - if you're working with a sibling with cancer, it might matter a whole bunch to you.
I'm still thinking, for a while, that we're going to need to use testing strips - the LaMotte 0-500 strips. I order mine through Grainger -
This is the way I test - I put 4 oz of cold water in a small glass or jar. Take 1mL of CDS and put it in the cold water. stir briefly to get mixed (plastic spoon, or even just the barrel of the syringe you used to pull up the 1mL) - use the testing strip as per directions. Your testing strip should measure approx. 100ppm (which will be a 3000ppm/L measure and a 1mL dose=3drops of mms1). if your testing strip measures MORE than 100 ppm, you should dilute it down to where it does or adjust your dose. If it measures less, you're going to have to increase your dose size to get 3 drops. Jim's initial video (with the 2hr timing and the ice water, etc.) consistently tested 100ppm in '2' oz of water for me - instead of 4 - so I knew it was twice as "strong" in terms of ppm than I needed to get an equivalent 3 drop dose. So, for that batch, I just used .5mL per dose, instead of 1mL.
The pros, like Michael and Steve and Dr. Ron are all selling CDS or will be selling CDS which has been standardized on a 3000ppmL, which will be 1mL = 3 drops of MMS1.
So... As I have said, this is still a moving target. Everyone is learning more each day. We're definitely on the cutting edge here. <G> There's already been at least one doctor documented cure of Leukemia - I know they're working in the field with Malaria, because of some communication with Jon Grenon.
