I have had 5 kittens on MMS for about 6 days straight now without a break. I started them on 12/23, but we had to take a couple of days’ break from then until now for holidays. During this time, I did the Starting Procedure for longer than the recommended time - about 4 days because they had breaks in the dosing for holidays. I decided to move to Protocol 1000 after about 4 days, which says to give 1/4 drop or 8ml of liquid to kittens from 2-4lbs. During this time, one of my kittens who wasn’t eating on his own got worse and died. I was syringe feeding him twice a day, but he took a turn for the worse and died on Thursday 1/4/24. This was very hard for me.
I’ve tried to give the kittens 8ml, but they fight me on it and some even cry after 6 doses of it. It’s a lot of fluid for them. I saw one vomit after giving this dose, so I halved it as recommended in the 2019 HRG Chapter for Animals. I’ve only been able to give 4ml (1/8 drop) at the most because the kittens simply won’t take more than this after several doses, especially when we are going on dose number 6. Some dribble it out the sides of their mouths or it doesn’t get in their mouths somehow. It was taking more than 25 minutes to give 5 kittens their doses. I felt like I couldn’t go too fast or they’d choke on it or start coughing after giving it. I’m not sure what to do at this point because it doesn’t seem to be helping them.
I’m able to have my chiropractor do remote healing, but at $50 a pop, it’s getting expensive. I also have 2 adult girl kitties who have had remotes and they are eating now. I hope the MMS is helping them. One kitty, Trixie, seems to get sick around the 7th dose almost every day. Last night I halved her dose when we got to dose #7. She will hide in the closet or vomit. When this happens, I halve her dose.
Of the 4 remaining kittens all of them have eye gunk. Some have crusty gunk and others have yellowish green stuff. One has dried brown gunk. This information is important to holistic vets. At least 3 of them still have an eye and nose infection. I give each of them 4ml, which is 1/8 drop of MMS. I want to up their doses as recommended in HRG, but I can’t seem to get further than 4ml (1/4 drop). I try to give them 8ml, but they start to fight me and then it becomes such a struggle. I feel like all I’m doing is giving them doses for almost 30 minutes. If I give the 8ml (1/4 drop), it takes a significant amount of time to dose them. Then it feels like all I’m doing is giving them doses and I might have 30 minutes to do other things during the 8 hour protocol.
Any suggestions or ideas?
