Hi guys. I have recently come to find out about MMS. I have purchase some of jims books and would like to make the solution (MMS) myself.

I have searched for suppliers for sodium chlorite and little comes up. I've checked the supplier list provided by this site and many of the suppliers that sold sodium chlorite powder/flakes no longer do so. From checking the forums here, ebay and amazon used to sell sodium chlorite too, but also no longer.

I have decided it's probably best to safe guard a larger amount due to what seems restrictions being put in place to make it harder to purchase sodium chlorite for the average joe.

Taking the advice of Jim Humble, I would like to purchase a 10 lbs initially but if the price is right a 100-110 lb (50kg) drum of sodium chlorite technical grade with a purty of 80-85%. I have checked alibaba and there are several suppliers that sell sodium chlorite technical grade for at least $1-1.5 a kg, not including shipping to my destination.

The thing is, before I go ahead and purchase something from Alibaba, I would like to ask those that have done such a large order before if they have any recommendations for suppliers that are willing to do such an order.

Not being a chemist myself, I wouldn't be able to verify the sodium chlorite purity so I would like to instead rely on someones experience in dealing with a reputable manufacturer.

I live in the states, but I am not restricted in purchasing from any where else so if your willing to give me a recommendation that would be great.

Update: Send specific inquiries to Chinese manufacturers as well and Indian ones via Alibaba and indianmart. Will post update if I get any further news.

If anyone else also goes this route make sure you are contacting them as a buyer.
Make it a point that the initial order will be tested in a lab and that you require a COA before moving forward. COA is Certificate of Anaylysis which basically tells you what is in the sodium chlorite as well as it's purity rate.
