Are we still using distilled water in our MMS?

I was reading in the 3rd Edition of Breakthrough The Miracle Mineral Supplement of the 21st Century that only distilled water was
to be used in the preparations of the MMS solution. It also went on to say that it was alright to use purified water if it says, "For
all distilled water purposes".

I think that I've had that edition for several years now and was wondering if distilled water was still being used.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Otherwise, I'm sure the "For all distilled water uses" purified water is OK. And, sometimes you may not have the luxury of the best water. Then, use the best water you can. Because if you are talking about the water that gets added to your MMS1 dose after it is activated, then that can be any water as far as I know, right? Hi KM,

The way I understand it, distilled water is recommended for making the citric acid solution and the sodium chlorite solution (MMS1) from powders. The idea being to use the cleanest water possible so as to avoid contamination as much as possible. Minor contamination would just reduce the effectiveness a little bit.

The sodium chlorite will detox anything in the water. Some people have claimed their citric acid grew mold on it, but I've never seen it happen and I had a wide mouth jar of 50% citric acid sitting out in 100 degree heat all last summer here in Phoenix and never saw anything grow.

In my own situation I use reverse osmosis water for making my solutions because the distilled water I buy from the store smells and tastes heavily of the plastic bottle the water comes in. My RO water is cleaner than that I reckon.

When it comes to the water that you add to your dose of MMS after you have mixed your solutions and let them activate, then I don't recall seeing Jim recommend distilled water for that. Although cleaner water is always better just because toxic contamination is never good.

We'll see what Bruce recommends. Glad you are working on it KM, keep us posted.

Thanks for clarifying that Michael. I was adding distilled water to my dose of MMS solution too.
It's good to know that I don't have to do that. I'm on a very limited income, so cutting down
the expenses wherever I can is a big help.

Talking about expenses, I do a lot of shopping at Amazon, and I see that they have Citric Acid
in a 5 lb bottle and it qualifies for the super saver shipping.

Based on your response above, I'm guessing that regular tap water can be used to fill the tub...is that correct? I wondered about the effect of residual chlorine and fluoride interacting with the CLO2...any comments? Many thanks!

One more thing. I just realized that the water I am drinking has a high ORP...it is the water that is microclustered and high alkaline...also called Kangen water. It just occurred to me that this should not be taken while using MMS is that correct?
Although could you drink it 1 hour after taking MMS?
I also had a question on bath water for the MMS soaks and would appreciate it if you would confirm that it's ok to add the activated drops to tub water that has come directly from the tap...Also is it 30 or 40 for the standard drop dosage as I've seen both posted.

Welcome to the forum Rosberry!

Most people use tap water for MMS baths. The MMS will neutralize any toxins in it and there probably are not enough to really affect your MMS dose.

The Kangen water is probably okay. I don't really think it will affect the MMS, but to be safe just don't add it to your MMS dose. Drink it separately from your dose and you should be fine. Alkalinity is not really a problem it is antioxidants added to a dose that are a problem.

Regarding the dosage of activated MMS for the bath, Jim says to start with 30 drops (jimhumble.biz/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=21&Itemid=41). Each person is unique though, if you are in pretty bad shape you might start with less. If 30 drops don't do anything for you then keep adding 10 drops the next time till you get a benefit.

MMS (Master Mineral Solution) is Sodium Chlorite 28% (22.4% Sodium Chlorite, 5.6% Inert Salts and the remainder water) plus an acidic activator (usually 50% Citric Acid or 4% Hydrochloric Acid) when combined produces Chlorine Dioxide.
