What 2 books talk about the myth of high bloodpressure? Are they still available or been taken out of print?
Thanks!

There's nothing like a doctor telling you, "Here, take this expensive med that no insurance company will cover. Oh, by the way, you need to take it for the rest of your life and there are horrific side effects." That's the biggest mental crowbar there is. Often, people who believe in Big Pharma and the whole medical model we have right now have the luxury of never having had to face that doctor with that message. For those who have faced it and still refuse to hear anything outside of mainstream thought, well... I feel for them because there are too often no answers in the old paradigm. When you think about it, that's a pretty scary place to be. And scared people act out and do scary things...

Anything truly new and revolutionary always gets slammed by traditional, fearful minds. There's a really good quote about that -- cant remember it at the moment -- something about mediocracy always attacks brilliance.

DENISE,

Here ya go...only one on the BP the other was cholesterol or something...it's been a while .....

www.amazon.com/High-Blood-Pressure-Hoax/dp/1887202056/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1347492399&sr=1-4&keywords=dr+sherry+rogers+books

If you do a net search, you'll find she is on another site, and if you search around a bit can find an email or number where she does consultations for a fee.

But her books are pretty eye opening!

I recently came upon MMS and FGHP therapy at the same time. And NOW more recently, I stumbled into old therapies, like turpentine!
And I always support peoples right to choose whichever therapy they see fit to take!

youtube- daniels, why turpentine is good for your health most excellent info with instructions and warnings for proper preparation prior to using turp should you choose to do so.
diamond g in georgia was the best turp I found.

KJ,

Your crowbar comment reminded me of what ORWELL said, that people would believe contradicting ideas at the same time!
And they most certainly have!

Taking it a step further, you may be interested in reading , just the readers comments....

LOL, my doc was deeply offended because I wouldn't take her HPB meds, I mean, how could I not "let her help her help me" - however, using auyervedic meds, I brought my numbers into the normal range. She was happy, just not interested in how.

Yeah...not interested....and we both know why, because anything other than hearing about an AMA protocol, would remind her about what kind of system she was working within!

something worth noting,

The first thing is you have to realize "you cannot make anyone happy only yourself" that being said if you truly happy you will draw people to you like a magnet.
Speak from first-hand experience and don't oversell it, you should not have to. A lot of times as your health improves others will notice, just tell them you're involved in an alternative approach as Pam suggested. If they're interested in getting better they'll ask if not they won't. Sometimes people define themselves by their sickness, I know it sounds crazy but it's true! And then you come along and tell them you can make them well or you know what came. Generally this justice pissis those people off! you have to understand they are defining themselves by their sickness. And have long since given up hope, what to do.

The simplest answer is be happy be compassionate towards people and to show often times people who know you and some who don't will ask questions. That's why my favorite saying is "truth loves questions because truth can be proven" where there's life there's always hope, try not to dwell too much on people who really are not looking for information to become healthy or maintain their health.. It will distract you from people who really honestly are beginning to see modern medicine is anything but. It's getting increasingly hard to hide the fact they're more about treatment than curing disease. With that in mind there are still some doctors who really don't believe they have any viable options.

also something to remember we are all connected what you say and do matters!!

Chad,

Them defining themselves by their disease or condition really struck a nerve.

I had made friends with a neighborhood handy man, who had a lot of conditions wrong with him,
chronic pain....and I made some suggestions to him, but it was like running into a buzz saw...I really pissed him off! :(

We eventually went our separate ways and then he started making up stuff about me to the neighbors....a pretty bad scene.
No, I did not confront him....no point. I already knew he had issues as he confessed to not being in contact with his own family for 18yrs...

I never really understood why folks copped an attitude when all you are doing is trying to help!...but I think I know a bit better now.
Tho I'll probably do it again....and hopefully catch myself before ticking them off too badly.
