I often have a lot of problems with my sinuses. I think I'm allergic to something in the house or at least in my town as I often go through periods where I get mucous building up in my sinuses that then trickles down the back of my throat and causes me to constantly cough. But usually when I go to a different town or fly abroad the cough goes away. It could have something to do with a factory thats in my town with huge towers giving off some kind of substance.

Anyway over the last few days I tried using MMS twice now in a sinus / nasal flush and it worked really well.

Previously I'd flushed out my sinuses with Saline (made form Sea Salt and water) and that has worked well but with MMS it was a whole different experience.

Anyway the first time I flushed my sinuses out with MMS I used 1 drop in a glass of water and then soon afterwards was coughing out larges amounts of sticky mucous, so sticky it was hard to even wash away in the sink. Probably was coughing for an hour or so. But after it all cleared out I found my breathing through my nose a easier then normal and there was less coughing then normal, and I remained pretty clear for several days after. Next time I tried I used 2 drops and it worked well again, less of a reaction then the very first time I used it.

Anyway I have a theory with regards to the sinuses. I believe that the human sinus cavity is the perfect place for bacteria to hide out and grow. It's warm, moist and sticky. And I believe when we take oral antibiotics the antibiotics are only able to get to the places where we have a blood supply. As far as I am aware the sinuses are just one big cavity and hence no blood in there but bacteria that are in the mucous have a nice safe heaven to hide out in and from there they have great access to a person's ears, mouth, nose and throat and then into the lungs, stomach, etc. I believe that when people get sick and take antibiotics there can still be some bad bacteria in the sinuses which hides out and then makes it's way back into the person's body.

I believe that there is great health benefits to clearing out the sinuses with saline or MMS. In the past I've managed to shift mucous with saline that was very yellow / green in color which would suggest infection. I would certainly recommend sinus flushes to people. I personally use a soft, squeezable container (which happens to be an old container for travel sized contact lens solution) .. that seems to fit my nose perfectly and allows me to get enough water through for a decent enough flush before it needs refilling.

I'd be interested to hear the experience of other people that have tried sinus flushes with either MMS or Saline. I believe it's great benefit to people's health.
