Damn, you'd think they'd have a "trending" example. That sure looks like 250x20, which would be 5,000 . i'd say between 4500 and 5000.

I agree Pam.... it does look way higher than 3000ppm .... is it still ok to do an hourly dose at the 5000ppm (doing 2.5ml at a time)....

or might it he a little harsh on the system.

Thanks for doing the testing Clint. If you don't mind, please do at least one more on the last day, so that we can see if the ppm are going up or down.

Also, regarding if it will be too harsh for your system, as I mentioned in my opening post, one of the reasons why I like this way of doing it is because it seems to be less harsh on my stomach and I think that's because there is less "raw" mms present in the mixture after it sits and continues to do it's thing overnight. So I think you will probably see that you will actually have less trouble with nausea.

Thanks for giving this a try and letting us know how it's going.

With lots of smiles,
Scott

This suggests the possibility that CDH / CLO2 is a potential LIFESAVING MRSA cure, VRE cure, CRE cure, AMR cure, Ebola cure, HIV cure, Cancer cure, etc., since it appears to be safe intravenously at 50ppm.

- Every ml of CDH contains 1 drop of MMS, so 1 drop of MMS = 1ml of CDH
- MMS is 7 to 10% activated in 30 seconds while CDH made with 4% HCl is about 50% activated in the bottle. This is why CDH is far less nauseating than MMS drops

Thanks for the testing Clint! Excellent photos by the way.

My experience with the test strips is that if I dilute enough to test at the high range (eg, 1ml cds + 9ml water) and it gets into the 250-500ppm range, then I get a reading that is twice as high as if I instead dilute to the 25-50ppm range.

With my CDS that I made every week for 6 months using the same method, I could take 1ml cds and add 9 ml of water and get a reading of 500ppm (therefore 5000ppm). But when I took the same cds and added 1ml to 2oz of water, then I would get a reading of 50ppm, and if I diluted it with 4oz of water then I would get a reading of 25 ppm (thus 3000ppm). So my cds tested at 5000ppm with the first method at the high end of the strips and it tested at 3000 ppm at the mid range of the strips. I did this numerous times. The reading varies depending on the range you are using on the test strips.

Same problem exists with the eXact chlorine photometer device I purchased which eliminates the human eyesight variable. Still had variations in readings depending on the dilution and range you are using on the device.

So PPM testing is not an exact science and it is important to specify the dilution used to get a certain reading. So appreciate that Clint and Pam.

Hi Michael,
I'm a bit confused. You said,
"1ml cds and add 9 ml of water and get a reading of 500ppm (therefore 5000ppm). But when I took the same cds and added 1ml to 2oz of water, then I would get a reading of 50ppm"
2oz is not double 9 ml, right? 2oz is 1/4 cup which is 60 ml. Or am I reading you wrong?

Hi Scott,

I'm not entirely clear on your question. 2oz is 60ml, so a 50ppm reading is 50x60= 3000 ppm. So what I am saying is the dilution you use to test, will give 2 different readings on the ppm. This is a big problem. I have mentioned it before but no one else seems to be discussing it.

Same problem exists with the eXact chlorine photometer device which uses an electronic eye to take the reading. The accuracy varies depending on the range you are using. The mid range is supposed to be more accurate you would think. So diluting down to the 50-100ppm range on the test strips should be more accurate, but it will probably cut the ppm in half.

Hi Michael,
I understand now. I was just confused because you started by mentioning milliliters and then mentioned ounces. But I get it now. Wow, that is a huge difference in readings. Almost double the ppm. What number do you go with? Do you just add both numbers together and then divide by 2? 5000 + 3000 = 8000/2 = 4000? I guess, in lieu of a more accurate method, one would have to do this, eh?

Thanks for clearing it up for me. ;)

All the best,
Scott

Hi Michael,
I just re-read what you said (again) and it would seem that the the lower number (3000 ppm) is probably the better, more accurate one, since you got the same reading on both the 2oz and 4oz (60ml and 120ml) dilutions, right?

I have been being conservative and saying it is 3000 ppm, but based on the device readings I think the real number is probably 4500 ppm, thus in the middle. Better to be too strong that too weak the way I look at it.
