Hi Clint,
Yes there might be some reaction happening and therefore some reduction in ppm, we just need to test it as you say. In that case we would test right after mixing it with the tea and then again before using the last, 8th dose. But I think people have been mixing the mms with other drinks for a long time now, especially juices that don't have any vitamin C added, so I don't think there would be a problem doing it this way. The way around it though, would be to just take out the 2.5ml of the 7 day fridge mms and add it to your tea or other drink every hour. Not quite so convenient but doable.
Regarding using baking soda - no, I'm not adding any, accept to the teeth brushing/BO mix, as mentioned. Maybe we could. There was a time in the past, maybe 6 months ago, that I was adding the 1/8th teaspoon to my 8 dose bottle, but I had the feeling that it was somehow reducing the effectiveness of it. Actually, I was also making and taking cds for awhile, but with it too, I didn't feel that it was as effective as good ol mms mixed with citric acid. I remember one time that both my wife and I came down with a pretty severe cold and so we started taking the cds to knock it out and it didn't seem to do anything to it at all. I think I didn't get over that cold for a couple of weeks. Whereas, in the past when we have taken regular ol mms and citric acid for a cold, it would knock it out in just a day or two. I'm not sure why the cds didn't do the job but my gut feeling/thought about it was that I thought the clo2 in the cds that we were drinking, might not be as readily absorbed into the blood through the stomach as the regular mms with citric acid is. I could just imagine the cds going into the stomach and warming up and then being burped out through the mouth. I don't know about the baking soda though. I do know that my bottle of mms with baking soda, that I use for my teeth and BO, does stay very yellow (by the way, I keep it in the fridge too) and so I know that it is retaining the clo2. Then, once it's in my mouth, I WANT it to release from solution and do it's job. Also, baking soda itself has been used for years to brush teeth, so I believe they are a great combination for the mouth, and for my arm pits too. Hahahah
Another thing about using it to brush my teeth, I can really feel the difference - it's not subjective. There is definitely less plaque build up at the end of the day. I used to not use the baking soda in the teeth brushing mix and boy was it kinda miserable because of the strong citric acid flavor - yuck! Now though, no problem at all. I'm looking for some peppermint oil here in Indonesia to make the flavor even better and then maybe I'll even be able to get my wife to brush with it
Hehehe.
Real quick, getting back to the cds, I think that it's the ticket, or maybe cdi, for intravenous. I intend on using it that way if I ever have a serious infection or some other life threatening disease.
Hope all this helps.
Take care,
Scott
