eating while on hourly mms protocol and much more 29 Mar 2011 03:07 #1925

my first post disappeared into cyberspace so will try again . . .
will try to be as brief as possible . . . have read and read and read jim's site as well as lots of others but simply can't seem to find some answers so thank you for taking the time to try to help me! how in the heck are you supposed to eat while on the mms hourly protocol? does food in the stomach render the mms useless? seller advised eat 1 1/2 hours after last dose then wait 1 hour after eating to dose again which pretty much uses up 3 hours . . . I have found it rather difficult to accomplish that and get all 10 doses in and it certainly defeats the purpose of having 10 consecutive dose if you take breaks (even one) to eat I realize that mms in only active in your body for about 1 hour (although have read conflicting info that states 2 hours) but not sure how to eat around that so am I making this harded than it has to be? should I just eat normal and dose hourly? I just don't want to waste several of my doses if food affects the mms and what about protein shakes? would that affect the mms the same as a meal of real food? are there any food (other than vit c, alcohol) that you definintely need to avoid? hoping mms will be effectiive on several of my health issues including cancer seller advised hourly dose for cancer protocol of 6-8 up to 10 drops per hour I have now been on the hourly mms dose protocol for a little over 5 weeks but have been unable to progress past 3 drops per dose have spent at least 75-80% of that time nauseated w/stomach distress (feel like swallowed a soccer ball) with several bouts of vomiting and diarrehea apples didn't help nausea would go back down to 2 or 2.5 drops temporarily and then back up to 3, trying to push through seller said must be candida but I don't agree because I do not crave sugar and eat very little of it seller advised to stop for 3-4 days and let my body rest but didn't want to lose ground so stopped for only 1 day 2 weeks ago and then read that jim states NOT to stop anyway so glad that I didn't stop for the 3-4 days seller advised drinking "Dr Millers Holy Tea" to help me release toxins - have been drinking for about 3 weeks now but now much help have taken 1 mms bath, no mms enemas thus far jim states that if you can't progress to higher doses that perhaps the mms can't keep up with the cancer growth diagnosed with stage 2 thyroid cancer 2 1/2 years ago; treatment, inconclusive scans since w/blood markers quite elevated not sure what current cancer status is as insurance keeps denying scans so have not had one for almost 17 months did urine test last october for Navarro clinic in Phillipines, indicated mildly positive for cancer however, I truly do NOT believe that cancer is rampant in my body have not yet done AMAS test yet as have to talk doctor into writing orders to have blood drawn just read that jim says to add in mms2 but seller previously advised me that was "old" and unnecesary jim also advised to add "Indian Herb" which I started almost one week ago so am currently doing mms (6-10x depending on nausea) and Indian Herb 1x/day as directed so do I need to add in mms2? how long can you be on mms? a video found in the last few days from a "Brady" indicated that a lady that had been on mms for one month had been on it too long but I know that some testimonials indicate courses of at least 2 months how do you know when you can stop taking mms hourly and begin maintenance doses? can you take it too long? if it only affects the bad pathogens and not the good then . . . do you need to take regular breaks? since I have already been on mms for over 5 weeks, should I stop for a while? . . . and just use the "indian Herb" for its first 21 day course? . . . and then start mms again? how will I know when and if I need to start back on mms? revulsion to especially smell started almost immediately when starting mms . . like literally the first dose stomach has physical reaction before I even drink it . . . even if it has been hours since my last dose I can suddenly smell / taste mms I'm sure that when I finally get to my maintenance dose of 6 drops/day that it won't be so bad so I stiill prefer to just try to tough it through and continue with drops rather than go to making the capsules and also confused about . . . old protocol: 15 drops x 3 doses = 45 drops / day new hourly protocol: 6-8-10 drops x 10 doses = 6-0 - 100 drops / day hourly dose totals are significantly higher seller advised that there is no reason for anyone to use the old protocol anymore do you agree? is there any reason I should try the "old" protocol since I can't seem to get past 3 drops? thanks soooo much for your time and trouble . . . I know that it must take an inordinate amount of your time . . . just want you to know that you really are appreciated . . . without you us newbies are lost! blessings! |

Hi Kat,
I only have time to answer some of your questions right now, will have more time later. It looks like you are doing a good job of being diligent. As far as eating, I would not worry about it. Even when I take doses right in the middle of a meal, I feel the MMS hit my body, feels pretty similar to if my stomach was empty. So I don't think it makes much difference. I have read where Jim recommends trying to separate your mms 1/2 hr from eating, but that makes hourly dosing pretty impossible. But Jim always says to eat if necessary for nausea and that means right after taking your dose often. So it is not really important to stay away from food, and I just don't even worry about it, because like I said, I feel it plenty even with food, and I have to fight nausea too. I have read the latest materials from Jim. Some of what your seller tells you is correct, other parts are very incorrect. I would quit listening to your seller and look at what Jim has on his site and ask here. Do stay away from the old protocol. You definitely should be on protocol 2000 jimhumble.biz/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=34&Itemid=61 . Follow and do just what it says because that is Jim's latest advice for someone in your situation. That means doing MMS2 also, and it means NOT stopping unless absolutely necessary due to nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Because of your trouble with nausea, you do need to find other ways to get MMS into your system. The baths are excellent, you can also do foot soaks. You can also add in DMSO with protocol 3000 to get MMS through your skin. You can keep taking MMS as long as it takes to get well, so don't worry about that. Some people have to take it for a long time at high levels. If you need it, then it is okay. If you are doing hourly 3 drop doses for 10-12 hrs a day, that is pretty good. Then doing baths is very good. Adding in MMS2 will make a big difference for you, gives your body a whole new tool to use. It might be easier for you to take, just try and see. Healing prayers and wishes, Michael

Hi Kat,
Will try to answer any questions I missed earlier. If anything is still unclear after this, please just ask. The only foods to avoid that I recall Jim mentioning are oranges, and that probably just means within 2 hrs of your mms dose. The indian herb that Jim recommends is fine to have as part of your protocol. Your seller is definitely wrong about MMS2, Jim highly recommends it. And you need to add it in. It sounds like you don't really know the status of the cancer right now, but the fact that you are having all the other GI tract symptoms on 3 drops hourly indicates that you have something going on and you need the MMS to clear it up. The stomach distress sounds a lot liike gas and toxicity in the GI tract. I have suffered through a lot of that over the years with my detox therapy. You need to get your bowel motility operating well. Good motility is when you have a bowel movement after every meal, like 3 times a day. Jim recommends the Senna herb, and lately I have been using Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) like you get cheap at the grocery/drug store. This is called a saline laxative. I have to take it a lot more than it says on the package, but that is how my bowels have always been. You want to find a reliable laxative to help keep your system flushing smoothly, to get all the waste and toxicity out as quickly as possible. It is the stress caused from the waste not moving swiftly out that I think results in candida and parasites in the bowels. Michael

michael,
I'm not sure if I should just reply to your email or if I am supposed to go back to the forum and post another message there. Please let me know what the proper protocol is. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to answer my questions. I so want the mms therapy to be successful for me so I am determined to work through it but it is so much more comforting to feel that I now have found a place to get reliable information so I don't feel that I have to walk through this and figure it out alone! I feel that I have wasted so much time with misinformation and not fully understanding some of jim's instructions. Being able to eat anytime regardless of dose time will make a tremendous difference in my day! This morning I took my first dose, then made a protein shake with raw garlic, blueberries, cranberries, pineapple, banana, whey and soy protein powder, green food, omega 3 oil, flaxseed oil and cottage cheese (alternative cancer), usually asparagus puree but out today (also alternative cancer), and a few supplements (ribose, glutamine, lecithin, fiber). another dose was due before I got my shake finished so took that dose - still wasn't quite finished with my shake but my nausea had been increasing since the first dose so had to wait a bit to finish the last inch of shake - but continuing my hourly doses. I have been calling all of the swimming pool / spa supply stores in town but thus far have been unable to find any calcium hypochlorite. Would you mind sharing with me where you bought yours? One place said that "burn out" is the same thing and she carries that - do you know if that is true? I will probably just have to look at the label . . . she said that walmart carries it but you have to buy it by the case. If the mms2 is taken every other mms dose or every 2 hours, then is it better to start both with the first dose or since I am unusally nauseated from word go should I wait until the second dose of the day to add it in? so I will be taking 10 doses of mms and 5 doses of mms2, correct? and food doesn't affect the mms2 either, right? also, may I ask where you purchase your MMS and activator? there are numerous sites online that sell it but I want to make sure that I am buying what I think that I am buying so would really like to buy it from your source since you have obviously done well with it for a while now. May I ask what your story with mms is? how long you have been using MMS? how long on the big dose? how long now on the maintenance dose? do you take your maintenance dose every day? 6 drops? and what kind of issues have you had success with? or not had success with? Could you tell that MMS was working because you gradually quit having such nausea / detox issues? Is that when you knew when to go to maintenance? It is nice to know that I don't have to worry about how the length of time that I am on it but truly hope that it isn't too many more weeks / months! Did the revulsion to the smell diminish as you got better? Does is matter if you take a dose and then lay down? I sometimes start my does in the wee hours of the morning when I get up to pee and then go back to bed until time to take the next dose or to get up. However, since I was so nauseated I decided that maybe it was making things worse so started propping myself up in bed (not conducive for good sleep but then neither is waiting for the hourly beeper to go off!) I also noticed that within the first day or 2 of starting mms that I suddenly developed a nagging cough which is mainly only when I lay down at night for about 15 seconds. I had this same cough for over a year in the past but hadn't had it in over 2 years so was surprised that the mms seemed to trigger its return. Hopefully, it is something else that the mms is working on! Interesting that yesterday I suddenly was congested, sneezing, major running nose etc etc - can't imagine after being on mms for 5+ weeks and Indian herb for almost a week, what in the world could have survived to suddenly erupt like that. I rarely get sick with colds, flu, etc anyway - my issues are more chronic nature but I fully do expect this protocol to give my body what is needs to heal itself the rest of the way and to restore me back to what God created it to be. Because of nausea and timing, have not managed to get any of my vitamins etc taken since I started the mms - doing good just to get my thyroid and blood pressure meds taken. What have you found works the best for you for taking your supplements? Does the vit c in my multiple (whole food multiple) make a difference? have never taken epsom salts for stomach issues but sounds easy enough so will start it today. How many times a day are you having to take it to be able to have a movement after every meal? Do you take yours with your meals, before, in between, etc? You mentioned that you have to use more - does that mean more times a day or larger doses at a time? I have taken herbal laxative in the past (including senna and cascara sagrada, plus a potent mixture of herbs that I used for quite some time) (constipation has been a lifelong issue for me) but after starting the mms, I added in the Dr Millers Holy Tea hoping to help clean out the detox debris. And I totally agree with you . . . cancer or not, the mms is working on something and I DO want it cleared up. I haven't experienced much gas even though I do feel bloated and am retaining water (people have mentioned losing weight on this protocol but that has not been the case for me, at least not yet) - I would LOVE to drop 10-15 pounds in the process, though! I just feel like there is a solid mass lodged in my gut most of the time. I have even wondered if it could possibly be a lump of parasites (either dead or gathered for battle against the mms!) because I haven't seen any evidence of parasites in the potty at all yet and I would be very surprised if I don't have at least some parasites. Even as a very young girl, it was suspicioned that I had parasites (worms and tape worm) although nothing was ever done about it. So I am hopeful that the mms will take care of that problem once and for all, too. I'll keep watching! It's odd that there will be celebration if I spot something swimming around in the potty! lol! So unless you suggest otherwise . . . I will continue with the mms (still trying to increase as quickly as possible), Indian Herb, and Holy Tea I will add in the mms foot baths (use the same 30 drops as for a bath?), increase the mms baths, add mms2 as soon as I find it, add in epsom salts can you do the mms baths and foot baths too often? maybe the foot baths daily and the baths 2-3 times a week? by the way, when you take an mms bath, do you need to wash your hair first so that any conditioner, mousse etc that you have in your hair won't use up the mms in the water before it has a chance to attack pathogens / draw out toxins? I know . . . maybe this is being too picky . . . me making things harder than they have to be . . . just don't want to waste one single dose of mms I am sooo sorry that my emails are so long . . .as you can tell, I am plum full of questions (sorry, my daughter cringes when she hears me voice expressions like that). I promise that I will try to do better. As you so patiently answer me, I'm sure that my questions will be dramatically reduced! I just want to be healthy! I just want this to work! again, thanks for your time, trouble and patience with me . . . it is not wasted. maybe as my knowledge grows, I can help someone else someday. blessings to you, michael. kat

Hi Kat,
I will respond to your new questions below interspersed with what you wrote to me. My comments are in bold. michael, I'm not sure if I should just reply to your email or if I am supposed to go back to the forum and post another message there. Please let me know what the proper protocol is. Anyone is welcome to write to me privately if they prefer. To respond on the forum, then you come here to the forum and while viewing my last response to you, you hit the "reply" button that is on the bottom of the window, then a message box comes up for you to write. Unfortunately there is a great deal of DISINFO about MMS out there. Sounds like you are eating pretty good. You need to be extremely careful about this, to make sure you get pool shock that has an active ingredient of CALCIUM HYPOCHLORITE only; you cannot use anything else that 'does the same thing.' I get mine from Leslies Pool Supply which is a national chain www.lesliespool.com/browse/Home/Pool-Chemicals/Pool-Shock/Power-Powder-Weekly-Shock/D/30100/P/1:100:1000:100010/I/14620 . I will also include below a scan of the label. Sometimes they talk about "available chlorine" but that figure is irrelevant; look only for what the percentage of calcium hypochlorite is; on my label it says Active Ingredient Calcium Hypochlorite 73%. If the mms2 is taken every other mms dose or every 2 hours, then is it better to start both with the first dose or since I am unusally nauseated from word go should I wait until the second dose of the day to add it in? Jim recommends taking mms2 on the half hour between the mms1 doses, that is what I am doing. so I will be taking 10 doses of mms and 5 doses of mms2, correct? Yes and food doesn't affect the mms2 either, right? Food is not a problem with mms2 either. also, may I ask where you purchase your MMS and activator? Make it myself; here is a good place, I know Steve sodium-chlorite-supplier.com/index.html there are numerous sites online that sell it but I want to make sure that I am buying what I think that I am buying so would really like to buy it from your source since you have obviously done well with it for a while now. May I ask what your story with mms is? Long story, someday I hope to get to it. how long you have been using MMS? how long on the big dose? how long now on the maintenance dose? do you take your maintenance dose every day? 6 drops? and what kind of issues have you had success with? or not had success with? Could you tell that MMS was working because you gradually quit having such nausea / detox issues? Is that when you knew when to go to maintenance? It is nice to know that I don't have to worry about how the length of time that I am on it but truly hope that it isn't too many more weeks / months! Did the revulsion to the smell diminish as you got better? You can go on maintenance after you get WELL. In my experience long term chronic conditions can take a while to get well. Lying down should not matter. The symptoms you get, such as a cough, congestion, etc., from taking MMS are usually symptoms of healing action; you ought to just assume that whatever the MMS is triggering is good and necessary for healing; when you get well it will go away. Jim says that most of the cures he has achieved in Africa (eg, 800 HIV etc) and Mexico have been with people who have a diet of corn meal only; so it seems MMS can heal even without much nutrition. The vit. C in your multi-vitamin will nuetralize the MMS if you take it within 2 hrs. of your dose, so don't do that. have never taken epsom salts for stomach issues but sounds easy enough so will start it today. I've had constipation/sluggish bowels all my life too, which is a big problem for healing. There are many different laxatives and I think different ones work better for different people. I usually have to take at least a double recommended dose to get results. The epsom salt box says 1-2 teaspoons twice a day at most; but I am taking a heaping Tablespoon five times a day to get movements after every meal. The box also says not to use it long term, but I've been doing it two weeks and I'm going to keep doing it as long as necessary to keep my bowels going. My movements are watery when doing this, but I don't feel sick like I do with a case of diarrhea, and I'm glad to keep the toxicity moving out. I am not feeling any ill effects from it. It is only a healthful mineral. Even as a very young girl, it was suspicioned that I had parasites (worms and tape worm) although nothing was ever done about it. So I am hopeful that the mms will take care of that problem once and for all, too. I'll keep watching! It's odd that there will be celebration if I spot something swimming around in the potty! lol! You could have growths or parasites, but the MMS will take care of it. So unless you suggest otherwise . . . I will continue with the mms (still trying to increase as quickly as possible), Indian Herb, and Holy Tea Sounds good. I will add in the mms foot baths (use the same 30 drops as for a bath?), increase the mms baths, add mms2 as soon as I find it, add in epsom salts can you do the mms baths and foot baths too often? maybe the foot baths daily and the baths 2-3 times a week? I did foot soaks 3 times a day for a couple weeks with 1 teaspoon of activated MMS soaking for 45 minutes average each time and my feet looked better than they ever had. I do not think you can do too many baths/soaks. by the way, when you take an mms bath, do you need to wash your hair first so that any conditioner, mousse etc that you have in your hair won't use up the mms in the water before it has a chance to attack pathogens / draw out toxins? I know . . . maybe this is being too picky . . . me making things harder than they have to be . . . just don't want to waste one single dose of mms Whatever toxic residues are on your body will nuetralize some of the mms, but it is probably not that significant and worth the trouble of pre-washing. I am sooo sorry that my emails are so long . . .as you can tell, I am plum full of questions (sorry, my daughter cringes when she hears me voice expressions like that). I promise that I will try to do better. As you so patiently answer me, I'm sure that my questions will be dramatically reduced! No problem Kat, these are good questions and probably others have them too. I just want to be healthy! I just want this to work! again, thanks for your time, trouble and patience with me . . . it is not wasted. maybe as my knowledge grows, I can help someone else someday. blessings to you, michael. kat My healing prayers are with you. michael,
thanks for more great info! found the mms2 today . . . leslie's pools JUST opened a location here - literally in the last couple of days! so was able to buy exactly what you use - and was not expensive - only about $4.00 will try to start it tomorrow! excited to start but I have to admit am a tad bit anxious at the same time! all of this is only temporary anyway - I can put up with almost anything as long as I know that I am moving forward and when I know that it isn't forever! After all, I will eventually move to maintenance! blessings, kat |

That is great about the mms2 Kat! Remembering that you are fighting the nausea, you may want to start with only half to quarter doses of the mms2. A full dose is a size 0 capsule or a rounded 1/8th teaspoon. You can also take them in between the hourly mms1 doses.
