Gordon, my advice from experience would be to be wary of the 28-days threshold. It seems that about a month after starting a treatment (be it antibiotics, plants or MMS), many Lyme patients tend to make a violent Herx reaction if they stay on the same dosage. Again, many doesn't mean all, but with Lyme disease it pays to be prudent.

Guess what - last night, after 3 days (day one - 3dps 4x, day two - 2 dps 7x, day 3 - dps 7x) I herxed big time!!!! I know I shouldn't of stopped but I did for just today and will start tomorrow again on the "start up protocol", I've herxed plenty of the years and don't need to feel any worse than I already do. First timer mistake! Funny thing is, I actually felt better right away (days 2-3), maybe it was just wishful thinking and over zeal.
Thanks

Sorry to hear that but now you know they have this starting procedure for a reason :-) I hope everything will go smoothly now, you will build up your dose slowly.

Hi I have a big question. Today I realized that I must have some kind of allergic skin reaction to MMS1 or DMSO. I've had this Lyme skin manifestation on my lower leg for a long time. Coming and going, red, less red, bigger, smaller. Never itchy though. Now it is ugly, itchy like hell, red bumps that are covering almost my entire leg from ankle to my knee. It sort of calms down over night (not itching, not red) and when I take my first dose of MMS1 with DMSO it starts acting up again( I just connected the dots this morning). Anybody has any thoughts on that, should I stop DMSO first and see maybe I am allergic to it, or...Ideas greatly appreciated  Thank you.

Zizi50, I presume you did the one drop DMSO skin test to see if you might have a problem with DMSO?

Yes, I would stopping adding DMSO to MMS1 and see if your leg problem goes away.

But, it could be a Herx reaction from MMS1/CLO2.

Some people can't tolerate DMSO on their skin, as I can't. It burns quite a bit when I add DMSO on top of CDS for skin problems.

Thanks, yes I did skin test before using DMSO and nothing happened, but yes that was my thought - stop DMSO and see what happens.

The herx ended up being a HV1 outbreak on my lips which came out before bed. So I took 1 drop before bed and made up the spray. The spray is really working good. I am starting on 1/4 drop 8xd today. I'm reading the 31 reasons for failure and have started his free most resent book. After reading that, I'll purchase his new book. Thanks!!

Question about DMSO. On the page of DMSO.org I found a line stating that DMSO is...an antioxidant...So how can we take It with MMS1 which is an oxidizer??? I am confused...I've been avoiding antioxidants since I started MMS1...
Anyway I stopped DMSO today and stil have this horrible itch on my legs, but less. So maybe I am Herxing? It is exactly a month since I started MMS.

We know that DMSO will slowly reduce CLO2 content and is why its added at dosing time and not into an all-day bottle. Despite its small negative effect on CLO2, it is most useful in driving CLO2 farther into tissue.

By the way, there is no problem in making up an all-day MMS dosing bottle if CDS is used, because CDS is very stable, unlike MMS1.

The reduction of itching may be due to less CLO2 being utilized by your body since you are withholding DMSO. It would be interesting if you reduced dosing by 50% as Jim recommends if Herxing happens.
