I started using MMS almost 12 months ago (on and off). Did not use it on a regular basis. At first, I got amazing results with the swelling and the pain in my hands. Recently the swelling and pain had come back. Some Raynaud's symdrome happening as well. I started taking MMS once again. It took longer to get positive results. I started increasing my MMS intake to 15 drops in the morning and 15 drops in the evening. Suddenly, I am experiencing terrible pain in my left hand. Its like my hand is on fire at the bone level. Terrible inflammation. MMS is not helping so I stopped taking it in case it is making it worse. Today I took anti-inflammatory meds. Could no longer handle the pain. My hand is on fire. What is happening? Is it the MMS? Is this permanent damage?

We don't know what is happening to you BUT, from what I read you should follow the protocols more closely. You should take three drops an hour for 12 hours a day. Not 15 drops at a time.

There are a number of protocols on Jim's web site www.jimhumble.biz/ you should follow them.

Keep us posted on your condition please.

Hi, Mary. Reynaud's: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raynaud%27s_phenomenon

I'm not familiar with Reynaud's, but it sounds like it's caused by poor circulation in the extremities. I too have reduced circulation in the hands particularly as they have both been injured. Just getting them cold brings on severe pain - similar to thawing out frostbite. I have found that either niacin or cayenne pepper will increase the circulation temporarily. Have you ever tried DMSO for inflammation?

The recommended usage of MMS is now 3 drops max per hour for 8 hrs/day or maintenance of ; 'a maintenance dose for any person over 60 should be about 6 drops a day, either in the morning or in the evening. Remember, no coffee, chocolate, carbonated drinks, orange juice, or any kind of juice with added vitamin C or ascorbic acid in it within a full hour of taking you maintenance dose.A maintenance dose for a younger person can be twice a week of 4 to 6 drops. This should keep you immune system working at top efficiency'.

I can't imagine that the MMS triggered your pain.

Reynauds or some form of neuropathy - neither of which will be helped with MMS unless there is some pathogen cause or - say - some heavy metal, etc.

If you are willing to wait, I'd do the protocol 1000 - Paul gave it to you - and you can read more about it on
www.jimhumble.biz/new-protocols-1000-a-2000.html

The DMSO will also be helpful - if you find it too strong, you can make a 70%DMSO, 30%distilled water spray.

If the taste gets bothersome (some don't even like 3 drops) - add 1/8 tsp of baking soda to the 32 oz bottle.

Keep us posted, please.

Hi Bill - I used 15 drops of MMS only a few times which seemed to have triggered the pain. I then stopped using the MMS for 2 to 3 weeks. The inflammation did not go away. I then went back on the MMS (Protocol 1000). After just a few days, the pain became unbearable. So I stopped taking the MMS once again. I am now taking anti inflammatory meds. Too much pain to handle. I will begin MMS when the pain and inflammation subside.

I have not tried DMSO for inflammation. All I know is that at this present moment every drop of MMS I take increases the pain in my left hand to the point where I needed to take anti inflammatory meds (and I can tolerate a lot of pain). It seems that the MMS was able to reduce the swelling and the joint pain in my left hand and then when I started increasing the MMS dose, this unbearable inflammation surfaced and never went away. Now, any amount of MMS will increase the pain. I will look into the DMSO.

Okay, fair enough. Can you start again using just one drop for three days then if you have no additonal pain try two drops and so on. Let us know how things go as you try again starting with one drop. :)

One of the biggest causes of Reynaud's disease is Heavy Metals .... and MMS (which is like a Chelation treatment) would and will be of great benefit... but you must be diligent and do the protocol for enough weeks to get at the deep layers... DMSO helps it get to deeper layers.

Good luck
