Had a question come up.

How to dilute 36% HCL down to 4% HCL for use as a substitute for citric acid 50% activator.

Hydrochloric acid (muriatic acid, or HCl) which comes in 36% strength can be diluted to a 4% HCl solution to use as an activator of MMS in place of citric acid 50% solution.

The dilution ratio is 1:8, that is 1 part HCl (36%) to 8 parts distilled water.

Here are some measurement examples:
100 ml of HCl 36% added to 800 ml distilled water = 900 ml of HCl 4%.
50 ml of HCl 36% added to 400 ml distilled water = 450 ml of HCl 4%.

This can be checked at the dilution calculator site endmemo.com/bio/dilution.php

Remember PPM = mg/liter
% means "parts per hundred"
PPM means "parts per millian"
36% HCl means 36,000 ppm.

Here is a useful chart and site:

delloyd.50megs.com/ppm.html

Ppm (parts per million) to % (parts per hundred)

Example:

1 ppm = 1/1,000,000 = 0.000001 = 0.0001%
10 ppm = 10/1,000,000 = 0.00001 = 0.001%
100 ppm = 100/1,000,000 = 0.0001 = 0.01%
200 ppn = 200/1,000,000 = 0.0002 = 0.02%
5000 ppm = 5000/1,000,000 = 0.005 = 0.5%
10,000 ppm = 10000/1,000,000 = 0.01 = 1.0%
20,000 ppm = 20000/1,000,000 = 0.02 = 2.0%

That is a useful table Michael - thanks.

Why would this be a choice (other than desperate measure) to use HCl as opposed to Citric Acid or Lemon Juice?

I could not imagine even trying to convince a patient to consider taking Hydrochloric acid to activate MMS with. It is hard enough to even convince the uninitiated about Citric acid. :(

I must therefore presume it is for the manufacture of CDS?

Cyrille, you may want to do some research on hydrochloric acid. It's a part of our digestive system

HCL is paramount in our digestive process. It begins the digestion of protein and stimulates the pancreas to produce digestive enzymes and bile. Without enough of these two substances, we cannot adequately digest or absorb carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. When we don’t digest foods well, there may be three results:

1) We don’t get the nutrition we need.

2) Badly digested foods continue through the digestive tract. Some of the larger molecules flow through the intestine into the bloodstream. (The inflamed intestines noted above make this easier.) These larger molecules are seen as invaders by the immune system and are attacked. The result is food allergies. It is estimated that 80 percent of patients with food allergies suffer from some degree of impaired hydrochloric acid secretion in the stomach.

3) Foods linger for much longer than they should in the digestive system, resulting in an overgrowth of unfriendly bacteria in the small intestine and colon. When these bad bacteria begin to outnumber the good bacteria, a condition known as dysbiosis exists. According to Elizabeth Lipski, M.S., C.C.N., in her book, Digestive Wellness, dysbiosis may result in such diverse conditions as arthritis, autoimmune disease, vitamin B12 deficiency, chronic fatigue syndrome, eczema, food allergies and food sensitivities, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome.

In other words, a shortage of HCL can have dire consequences.

Many people take HCL daily for digestive issues.

At this moment for myself I prefer CDS.
Out of curiosity the last three days I have tested the standard MMS activated with HCL (Hydrochloric acid, muriatic acid etc.) 4%.
With HCL I did not experience nausea and upset tummy (rumble & diarrhea) on full scale Sacrament/Protocol 1000, its ............, nearly CDS.
Muriatic acid or HCL is also produced by the stomach itself to digest and kill pathogens.

When you use the right quantities of cyanide, you could be cured from cancer.

HCL is a good alternative for people who have trouble with citric acid. It tastes much better too. There is a German MMS site that offers HCL 4% as an alternate activator and I have heard they use it more in Europe. It is still experimental because Jim has not recommended it, but it seems to work just as good to me.

Hi,
Michael Harrah

In this German site selling the MMS, they use hydrochloric acid to 5% of 100m/L.

Why is the difference of 1% hydrochloric acid?

I just used this instead of citric acid in my hot Epson salt bath and I could tell a difference in my water color etc... I am changing to hcl and quitting Citric Acid. FYI: tub of water as hot as you can stand... wait 10 minutes to let chlorine dissipate out of bath water... add 1-2 cups of Epson salt (I love the foot soak flavor in 1 pound bags for $1 at DollarTree) not sure how much MMS to put in your tub (I have seen posts by people who react to the MMS but I have never had any kind of reaction) but I use 3/4 teaspoon of each and let activate for a minute or so... or I just wait on the color to change to yellow or deep orange.... add to water and soak for 10 - 30 minutes... If you are aching and wishing you had a nice massage... this is much better and relaxing....
