Basically every 4 or 5 years I seem to get a flare up of Herpes Simplex around my Right Eye.

I think it's triggered by spending time outside in the cold and wind, because even if I'm wearing warm clothes, hats and gloves the area around my eyes is still exposed.

At present my right eye lid has swelled up within the last 3 days and it getting to be pretty painful.

What do people recommend?

I seem to have gotten a few blisters around the right eye brow and some under my scalp but also I can feel a nodule in the right side of my neck.

Any idea why this would only seem to be affecting the Right Side of my face and Neck? I'm assuming in the past I'm more likely to spread an infection on the right side because I am right handed and far more likely to touch the right side of my face with my right hand then the left side.

This will be the first time I've had this flare up since discovering MMS - so what's the best course of action?

I want to try and make use of some of the things I have in stock ... I have at my disposal the following things ... some of which I've read may be useful for get rid of Herpes Simplex.
Perhaps out of this list people can advise things to take or avoid during a Herpes Simplex OutBreak - a lot of this stuff I bought during my 2 year quest to rid myself of joint pain (before discovering MMS beat everything else put together)

MMS / Citric Acid 50%
Organic Coconut Oil
Neem Oil from India
Neem Capsules (250mg)
Organic Sea Salt
4kg of Epsom Salts
1kg L-Glutamine Powder
Spirulina Powder
Kefir Probiotic Milk Drink (Which I make myself)
Lutein
Digestive Enzymes
MSM
Vitamin C
Cod Liver Oil
Vision Complex (Bilberry, Eyebright Herb, Quercetin, Rutin)
Septilin
Cat's Claw
Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Right now I'm looking for a 1 week or 2 week plan of action to get the symptom under control and get my eye looking normal again, afterwards I'll consider a long term plan to get rid of Herpes for Good but right Now I need some advice that gets me through the next week or two. I'm able to work from home for the next 2 weeks if need be so I'm willing to try anything and got the time to make it happen.

Also what food will help get rid of the Herpes Simplex and what will make it worse? (again just over the next 2 weeks)

I also bought some Aciclovir 5% Cream from the Chemist today and have applied that.

As I said I need advice on things that will make a difference over the next few weeks and look at the long term solution later.

Yes, shingles in the eyes are not a good thing. It's a viral infection, the old "chicken pox" virus, come back to roost. I had my first (and only, knock on wood) episode of it in 1988, when I came back from Japan, after multiple amoeba infections and lots of harsh western medicines to fix.

Regarding your list, Kerri has found that Kefir is one of the things that inactivates MMS - so if you're going to ingest MMS, do them at different times.

Obviously vitamin C and probably spirulina need to be kept away from MMS.

Since I tend to dab MMS on my HSV, (q-tips), and it certainly feels like it's helped me, I'd think you could do the same on the swelling around the eye. Hopefully the nerves in the eye are not impacted from the virus.

I don't wash the MMS/CA skin spray (or skin dab) off, Branish, - it won't hurt the skin - If you chose to add DMSO, I'd wash off, but not just MMS. Also note, the MMS must be activated -

Pam I read in one reply about the HSV you said you used it and it helped? I was hoping MMS would cure it all together. Am I wrong? I know the Rife machine works but its so expensive. What say you Ms. Pam. Is there a cure are not?? Curious minds want to know/\

I have never tried to "cure" it, Gary. Have many other issues I feel it is more important to work on. I do use it on an outbreak, though. Depending on when I catch it, what normally takes a week usually is gone in 1 or 2 days.

Anyway to give an update I'm on Big Pharma's Meds i.e. 800mg of Aciclovir 5 times a day, plus creame and ointment for the eyes - I have to say they appear to be working.

I also when to an eye hospital to have my eyes checked and so far so good.

The pain from shingles is just unbelievable - especially when you have it on the scalp as it makes falling asleep on a pillow almost impossible.

Every hair on you head feels like a dagger going into your skull.

I'm also using Organic Coconut Oil at night to help smooth over the skin as it's getting very dry and tight.

Also taking some Neem Capsules.

I've not taken or used any MMS since being diagnosed a few days back, not sure if MMS is right for me at this moment in time. At least not in these first few days.

One thing that really annoyed me at the Doctor's office was I asked him if there are any foods I should have more of or foods I should avoid and he said no.. doesn't make a difference. That really annoyed me .. that doctor's don't consider food important at all.

Luckily we have the internet to self educate ourselves and from reading other people's experiences it's quiet clear avoiding certain foods and having more of others can help.
The approach I'm taking right now is to starve the virus of it's source of food which is the amino acid Arginine by avoiding foods high in arginine and also eating foods high in lysine which the virus takes up thinking it's arginine but later finds out it can't reproduce itself.

I've also bought some Lysine in powder form so taking that.

There's no way I'm upto the task of a full on Protocol 1000 at the moment with being in such pain and needing to sleep as much as possible, but if anyone has an MMS suggestion that serves as a bit of an immune booster rather then a Herpes Virus Killing Protocol I'd be interested to hear it.
