Hello,

I'm sitting here meditating on all the positive uses I could
create with MMS for getting the cleanest environment possible.

At the moment, I feel like I've discovered the Holy Grail. I mean,
we have an ULTRA-POWERFUL killer of toxins and germs here.

I'm thinking about literally cleaning my entire house up and down
with a spray bottle of activated MMS.

Everything from my furniture, to bathroom, to clothing, to interior
of my truck, and beyond.

I may even fumigate all the space in my house with it- then giving
it plenty of time to "breath" and air out afterward.

Why wouldn't we apply this miracle to every facet of our lives?

It's finally time for some REAL clean living.

Hello Bruce, I love this chart, it's what I was looking for.
I have a question.
In a post you explains how to arrive to a certain ppm, I tested how many drops my dropper gets in 1 ml and do my calculations, GREAT.
In that post your arrive to 1 drop in 120ml to be 112.5
>So, for example, 1 max. size drop of MMS in 120 ml of water would be >approx. 13.5 divided by 120,000 or 0.0001125 or 112.5 ppm in the glass
with the minimum drop size the formula gives me 56,62ppm if I understud it right
But in a post from Jim Humble he tells us that the ppms we get from 1 drop in 120ml are 24 ppm.

Do you thin the calculations are right? because I had a hard time following your steps, had to study a lot :) and they seem to be ok, any thoughts?

Hi Steve, thanks for the chart, it's REALLY useful, can I ask you some?

1) We get more chlorine dioxide from this 5% solution with 10% acid or lemon juice than from 28% solution with 50% ca?
2) That drop of lemon in how much 5% solution?
3) I made my 28% sodium chlorite solution dilution from 80% sodium chlorite, I think making some changes in the formulas I'll get them OK for the 28% solution don't you think?
4) That 50.0000 ppm, can you elaborate some please, this is all new to me but I'm trying hard to understand :) what I mean is, for example, to get 1 Lt. of this solution at, for example, 500ppm, what are the steps (be easy pleeease) you make?

looking at the logic below I come to some really simple formulations to know the ppms I want, I'll play with them, love to play, all I have to know to use them is the desired ppm, the amount of water I want and the drops per ml

Drop sizes: According to Hesselink, drop sizes vary from 15 per ml to 30 per ml
Therefore, weight of drops of water will vary between 66.666 mg and 33.333 mg per drop.
Weight of drops of MMS (28% NaClO2 [crystaline 80% NaClO2]) will be approx. 81.333 mg to 40.666 mg per drop (weight of water x 1.22)
Actual NaClO2 per drop (wt. of drop x 22.4%) approx. 18.22 mg to 9.11 mg
Max. potential ClO2 per drop (wt. NaClO2 x .7458) approx. 13.588 mg to 6.794 mg
So, for example, 1 max. size drop of MMS in 120 ml of water would be approx. 13.5 divided by 120,000 or 0.0001125 or 112.5 ppm

so...
> to calc the mp:(((1000 / drops per ml) * 1.22) * 22.4%) * .7458
> to calc the ppm=mp/h2o*1000000
very simplified:
dpm=drops per ml
mp=(1000 / dpm) * 0,204
ppm=mp/h2o*1000000


My example:

example with my mms dropper
drops per ml = 15
mp(Max. potential ClO2 per drop) = (1000/15)*0.204 = 13.6
desired water 120ml
ppm = 13,6(1 drop) / 120000 * 1000000 = 113
so in 120ml we get 113 proximate ppm

I hope it serves for someone else

Hello Steve,

When one uses HCL (4%) as an activator for making CDS, is it just the fumes or are there additional reasons that it is better to not use HCL ?
What does the scrubber scrub out :) .
For the fumes it is enough to have good ventilation, I suppose.

Hello Ham. HCl has a relatively low vapour pressure thus when you heat the reaction bottle to speed up the process, hcl gas is produced as well as chlorine dioxide gas. The scrubber contains more sodium chloride to react with any hcl gas which is coming through. That way almost no hcl will be carried through to the CDS bottle.
You can smell the hcl fumes as soon as you take the cap off the hcl bottle. :>)
