Hi Pam,

No, not from a can but from cartons that I buy at Tescos in the UK. The producer is Kara www.karadairyfree.com/ I believe that they are pasteurized but I hope that as coconut oil can survive high temperatures without degradation then the milk can too!
BTW I bought the grains from happykombucha.co.uk/collections/live-kefir . It's great to be able to enjoy a drink that is not full of sugar or aspartame. I will be buying their water kefir crystals soon.

I washed them gently between changes. I'm sticking with the coconut milk because I'm concerned what they put in our milk (antibiotics etc). Best wishes
