Macaddict08 - the reason i use the pump is because my ceramic stone makes very very very little bubbles, its got so tiny holes that you need a lot of pressure for the gas to start coming out , that resulted in a waste of CDS gas that didnt came through the stone and everything was moving very slow.

with the air pump i can control the size of the bubbles and the speed it goes out from the MMS chamber to the CDS water to bring it to a maximum use of the amount of MMS i am using and the speed i make the CDS.

I like inefficiency :-)

(Jim used air stones that costs about 1.5 dollar each, they were design for aquariums NOT for ozone - they were really bad quality stones for CDS or OZONE)

Pam,

How hot is the water you use, how much water, and how long does it take to finish reacting and producing gas compared to room temperature?

I take it you are puffing the gas to another container. And did you cool the receiver bottle prior to making the gas?

I recently came upon MMS and FGHP therapy at the same time. And NOW more recently, I stumbled into old therapies, like turpentine!

Kenneth, are you speaking of my usual CDS where i make about 6,000 ppm?

I put the mixing jar (either 30 or 50mL of each MMS and CA), put that jar into a pan with water that stays just a little below boiling. The receiving jar I used to use an ice bucket with ice to hold the receiving jar, but no more. The jar's just on a cutting board, under the stove venting fan. I've simplified my technique over time and it works fine for me. I instill into 8 oz of distilled water, usually into a baby bottle, and I know about the color... so as I get closer to that color I start to test with the testing strips. Once I hit 6000ppm/L, I slip another bottle beside the first one, move the tube over, cap the first and put it in the fridge.

Honestly I didn't know what your usual was. ;)

But that's fine, it sounds like the original version like Jim did on the hot plate
and there is no blowing or puffing into a tube to move the gas, just the action
of the gas pressure due to the heat moving it to the receiver jar, correct?!

So your current config just has one tube crossing over and is sealed except for the tube obviously
and then the receiver container is either vented or open at the top?!

Yes, it's close to the original Jim technique - One tube crossing over, the receiver bottle is open at the top. The mixing bottle is sealed with the nipple. No blowing or puffing. I tried the bubbler method, and the barb melted on me, so I gave it up. If I have problems, it has been with the nipple pulling a bit askew, allowing gas to escape and then it doesn't go across on the tube.

I have been using aquarium bubbler method with a baby bottle warmer. I also use a chain of 5 bottles to capture any remaining gases that are not absorbed by the previous one. I don't use the bubbler stones.... yet. (just read about it now)

I can never seem to get a solution of more then 1000ppm. Its fine since I use a 1ml CDS = 1 drop MMS.

Just to make sure I am testing correctly. I have 0-500 test strips. I put one ml of CDS and 9ml of water.
What ever results I get I multiply by 10.

The silicone tubes go green on me. Is that a reaction I should be worried about?

Tubes going green are probably the result of the chlorine dioxide - it's a yellow/greenish gas, and it discolors my tubes, too, but over time the tubes return to their original color.

And what about the weak ppm CDS?
That is the more important question.
