Hi Chastiings
I am taking DCA, started last Wednesday –I have stage 3 breast cancer and had previous done a lot of research on this product: note—if you do try it—make sure to purchase it from a reputable place—a lot of companies make it and it is not pure DCA—I know they have good results for brain and breast cancer—don’t know to much on leukemia.
I like you kept getting sick with MMS2--wonder if they are made all the same??
I purchased the capsules which is a 60 day treatment and you must take vitamin B1 with it for better results…this is not FDA approved…but used frequently, like MMS protocol.
The Mediocre Cancer Clinic in Toronto, ON Canada works with long distance patience—I cannot be a patient for I have not been through conventional medicine—there’s another clinic in Mexico but I forget where.
Hope this helps –will include this on my forum also.
Best of luck and I hope this helps your research. Anne

Tumor Lysis Syndrome
Side effects atypical of DCA have been reported. These effects may be what is termed "Tumor Lysis Syndrome", the consequence of the rapid breakdown and death of cancer cells. This can be serious, and can result in death in some cases. The fact that we even have to worry about this is good news for us, because DCA is working so well against many cancers. TLS is also caused by other, standard, cancer therapies when they destroy tumor cells rapidly.
Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) is a life-threatening oncologic emergency characterized by metabolic abnormalities that can occur during rapid tumor breakdown in response to anti-cancer treatment. TLS is most frequently seen in acute lymphocytic leukemia and high-grade NHLs, but many other hematologic and solid tumors have been associated with this complication.
According to the Washington Manual of Medical Therapeutics, the following cancers are associated with TLS:
Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL)
Acute myelocytic leukemia (AML) Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
Chronic myelocytic leukemia (CML) Breast cancer
Testicular cancer Medulloblastoma
Merkel cell carcinoma Neuroblastoma
Small cell carcinoma of the lung
Possible Drug Interactions
We have not seen any drug interactions yet. Keep in mind that DCA is very new and we have extremely little data to work with here. However, based on the survey results to-date, we have no reports of drug conflicts with DCA. One report suggested that Lasix might interact with DCA. All the symptoms reported were actually those of Lasix. However, DCA may have amplified the Lasix effect.

Do I Qualify for DCA Treatment?
Patients with a documented diagnosis of cancer (any type) under the following categories qualify for treatment:
1. failed conventional, scientifically proven treatments
2. told by their doctor that there is no safe or effective treatment for their cancer
3. waiting to start conventional treatment, and would like to do something in the interim
4. treated for cancer, and would like to prevent recurrence (where no proven recurrence prevention is available)
5. receiving therapy which has a poor chance of success and would like to strengthen their treatment
What is the duration of treatment?
In order to determine if DCA is effective in treating your cancer, we recommend at least 6 to 8 weeks of treatment. For slow growing cancers, longer treatment is needed. If your cancer responds to the drug, therapy may continue indefinitely. If you experience significant side effects, treatment will be stopped and may be restarted later.dca-therapy
