Hi kwag,

Thanks for your information on the eye drops and the alternative method of making CDS.

Could you please specify how much a teaspoon is?

In Europe, a teaspoon is a very vague unit of measurement.
Teaspoons come in many sizes. And then there's the whole thing about whether it was heaped, and how much it was heaped etc etc.

Could you give us the measurements of the sodium chlorite flakes/citric acid in weight, please?

I want to try your method.

Thanks.

Hi Neilson,

Ok by weight, one teaspoon (My kitchen teaspoon :) ) of Sodium Chlorite is around 10 grams.
Same measure for the citric acid.
One might argue why not half the weight for the citric acid for a 50% solution? Because I wanted a faster and denser reaction.

*edit*

I forgot to ask you:
Do the sodium chlorite flakes dissolve alright in this mix right away, in such a short span of time?

Yes they do! specially when you have the chamber on a hot water bath.

And I guess you shake/stirr the reaction chamber a lot during the process?

You can, but only once every couple of minutes. No need to shake constantly if you do it this way.

Also, how long would you say the whole process takes? You mentioned it recuces the time by about 5 mins. How much is the process in total?

Thanks again.

As I mentioned, in about 5 to 6 minutes a gallon of water is saturated and done. The color stays the same even after 10 minutes, but then you see the color in the reaction chamber starting to lighten up.
So if you want to time it, set a timer for 7 minutes, start the pump, and when the timer triggers you're done!
Turn the pump off, remove the tubbing and fill your glass bottles from the gallon of water, then cleanup. AGAIN, ON A HIGHLY VENTILATED PLACE.

You probably don't need the full 10 grams, because as I said before, I use what's left on the chamber (baby bottle) for cleaning purposes, diluted in 32 ounces or a little more of water.
So with just 10 grams of Sodium Chlorite and 10 grams of Citric Acid, you can probably make close to a gallon and a half of CDS.

Thanks kwag.

No. The only different thing I'm doing here is the quantity of Sodium Chlorite and Citric acid.
And of course the air pump, although there are already videos about using air pump on youtube.
For example here:
(English Video)

Basically items and the flow are this:

Pump air via tube (tubbing included with the pump) into small hole on side of rubber nipple, and into bottle about two inches deep.
Stick 1/4 inch hard or soft flexible tubbing into top hole of nipple, about an inch deep. The other end of the tube all the way down into the recipient bottle.
And start your mini refinery :P

Please take a look at the video link above.

Where do you get the test strips for the high concentrations? I have not been able to find any. Also when you have the CDS what is the desired concentration to have on hand for use?

Hi Roy,

If you can get test strips that measure 500ppm you just dilute your solution 9 parts water to 1 part CDS, take the reading and multiply it by 10. For example, if you take 10 ml of CDS and add it to 90 ml of distilled water you have 100 ml in total. If your test strips indicate 300 parts per million it is actually 3,000 ppm.

The 'desired' concentration is up to you. The methods shown produce various concentrations - if you have 3,000ppm you would use 1 ml diluted in water to equate to a 3 drop dose of MMS. Or if you make a daily batch you would make it anywhere from 25 to 50 ppm and have about 4oz doses without having to dilute it further. Hope that makes sense.

THANKYOU!
I’m a nurse, and my mother is a HUGE fan of MMS or CDS!!! She thinks that because I’m a nurse I wouldn’t listen to such “nonsense”, but I totally believe!!! She’s my mom, and thus I have accepted mommas advice on many things with this miracle product!
My poor infected pink eyes are absolutely KILLING me to the point I couldn’t even open them or carry on a conversation even with them closed... mixed up this beauty “witches brew”, as my friend calls it, and although I was terrified to put it in my eyes, (drinking it is one thing... but put it in my eyes????) ... INSTANTANEOUS relief!!!!!!!!
The polysporin drops are taking a hike... although I still look horrible, I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!!!!!
