It seems my little dog is as infested as I am/was. I have only given him MMS baths. I had to do the extreme version on myself of MMS. I do not know what to do about him, so I am just using sulphur dip at present daily.

Any ideas from the experts.??

What do you use at night? This is the most tormenting time for me when I'm unable to sleep because of all the movement . I find rubbing tea tree oil stops movement, I doubt whether it kills any though. I too have them in my hair in fact everywhere even under my feet. Did you manage to kill them on your scalp with the MMS or do you need to keep doing it?
Since you now have evidence that you are suffering from canine mites I wonder if your doctor has reported it? I believe this is a big problem and why many are not helped by doctors. According to some doctors you can only be infested for a short time then the mites leave. The patients don't go back to the doctor so they think they no longer have the problem. The first doctor I saw said they will eventually leave after a few months even if you don't treat yourself with anything. How can you not do anything when you are tormented with no sleep at night!!! Some doctors are delusional!
I've found a way of suffocating them with a mixture of Vaseline, sulphur and tea tree oil. I can see some coming out of my skin like grains of black pepper, I'm sending them off to a lab in London to be looked at. I doubt whether they will be able to offer me any treatment but at least it will prove I'm not suffering from delusional parasitoses.
In the meantime I'm going to look for some MMS, I hope it's available here in the UK.

If you would like to read what I have done....please google.... Topix Scabies ........and look for posts by Faerie. I'm sorry, I don't have any spare energy to explain it all again. I am now on MMS every hour for 8 hours a day...starting with one drop increasing to three drops if I dont get nausea.

I don't even try to get any help or support from any doctors. They are not interested in listening.

PS I have a microscope. From my experience in looking, the black pepper is their poop. The mites themselves are about half the size and slightly lighter in colour. I believe they push their poop into one ball and that is what we can see as pepper. I could be wrong, but every pepper spot looks like a meteor under the microscope and the mites are spots that are so small you would not even think to check it under the scope.

Dont' waste your time with tea tree or any oils. They don't kill them. Believe in the MMS and keep going. My husband and I stripped out house on the weekend, cleaned everything with detergent and washing soda (sodium carbonate)....not baking soda, not bicarb....then I put a coat of varnish on the floors. EVERY item made of cloth or natural fibre is bagged in garbage bags and put outside until I wash it. I am putting half a cup of washing soda in every load and using the dryer.

Please go to the Topix forum if you want to know more about mites/scabies. If I had taken the MMS orally and the baths and the extreme version right from the start it would all be over now. I KNOW THIS. Your provider you buy it from maybe willing to provide ongoing advice and support. Mine is happy for me to ring them.

It saves confusion from reading too many posts and not focusing on your own treatment as strongly as you need to.

I am setting the timer for every hour to give myself and my dog our MMS doses.

Best of luck. Remember, if you have had these for longer than three months there will be nests of eggs deep inside your skin and fat layers......you need to commit to a daily routine and never deviate from it.

Extreme version as in the Matt Monarch video when You are being bitten.

Fuming on individual bites or what you think might be a nest (bumps under the skin that are itching madly)

Baths at least once a day. (follow the Jim Humble protocol for baths) BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR THE CITRIC ACID YOU BUY. Ask a forum mediator.

Oral doses either the few drops every hour for eight hours a day OR more drops 3 times a day. Again ask your supplier or this forums mediator advise.

I believe all of these things must be done as well as vacuuming your bed every morning and getting a steam cleaner to clean your house.

I know it's awful. Luckily my husband is supportive and I dont work outside the house and don't have children. I wish you strength in this. You can do it. But you must try to listen to the right people who are experts in field.

If I were you, I would order the MMS and in the meantime I would get some liquid lime sulphur and have a bath with 200mls of it in the bath every night, hair and all. This should give you some peace. I also had to get serepax to qwell my panic at night. In the meantime, study and study and write up your plan and tick it off each time you do part of your treatment every day.

This has been a huge lesson for me to learn to pay money for what I need to be well. Nothing else will work, so please conserve your energy and focus.

best wishes

I am trying the Matt Monarch method on my cat's mange
using the ten drops citric acid 50% and 10 drops mms 28%
wait 20 sec swirl to mix and 1 teaspoon dmso.
I don't wash it off myself until the next morning but
wonder if I should wash it off her after an hour or so.
She doesn't act like anything is burning.
Will do it each day so she will have some time in
between treatments.

Anyone else using this on a dog or cat?

I think 20 seconds is not long enough for the MMS to be activated. I was told by my supplier and on the Jim Humble website that you need to wait from 1-3 minutes. You can smell it when it is activated. I would just pass it under my nose quickly to check the gas was coming off it. Sometimes, I would be easily able to see the gas.

Do not worry that you will wait too long. There is more of a problem, not waiting long enough.

It is possible that only waiting 20seconds means that what has been done so far has not been activated. Perhaps that is why the cat is not reacting.

You do not need to wash it off at all. Though, I washed my hair after using it because it seemed to glug it up. I believe it stops working after half an hour to an hour. So if you want to wash it off after an hour, that is not a problem.

Hope this helps a bit. Best of luck

I had scabies once back in 1988. the county doctor kept thinking it was a reaction to antibiotics.
fortunately (luckily) the same dermatoligist who 3 monts ago clued me into lymes, told me i had scabies that many years ago.
but she gave me qwell or quell lotion.. i guess it is a nasty insecticide, but it did the trick...
my friends mother in the nursing care home, just had a bad bout with scabies. i guess half the place was infected with scabies.
the doctor was pretty slow to identify them.
i dont know what my friend used with her mother, it wasnt quite as powerful as the qwell lotion, i believe.

seems like the little buggers have mounted a defense to MMS.. from what you say.
my opine is go to a dermatoligist. that is who my friends mother went to finally, and that is who told me about them.

it is obvious to me now that infectious diseases are really on the rise. that bird flu scare we had a few years ago, remember that, everyone was supposed to be required to get a vaccine, was a false alarm, but perhaps that was just an early warning to what was coming down the pike.

i got lymes, and after doing research, i am astonished at the number of people suffering with it( and so many dont know it)
i certainly hope MMS will knock out the lymes in my case.

good info, warning about just using oil...they can live longer in oil, it does not drown them.
They have an impenatrable shell
www.demodexsolutions.com/default.asp?all_about_demodex.asp~mainFrame
and
www.demodexsolutions.com/default.asp?all_about_demodex.asp~mainFrame

for me I'd need to use this two phase treatment mixture for 120 days and nights.. $468... eek I wonder if the two products involve dissolving the encapsolated layer in one phase and killing in the next phase... one hot and one cold... since they have a 12 hour life cycle.. perhaps the hot mixture has oregano oil or some kind of similar substance and the cold mixture may have some similar borax substance as i go back and forth with the HP/H20borax and MMS/DMSO with good results to get through the layers until I get to the bottom of it.

I am over 60 and apparently older people have a higher rate of having this problem begin to overwhelm their bodies.

I have started taking oregano oil to help improve my immune system since I have had these mites for many years. Apparently most everyone has it. It doesn't become a problem unless our immune system is not healthy. There are claims that oregano oil can kill scabies but I think the extreme solution works well. I tried using the oregano oil the past 4 days topically also but avoid getting it in your eyes and it does help. The skin scabes over and black dots appear where the mites died, however, when i soaked the area in 1/3 hydrogen peroxide/water 2/3 mixed with enough borax to stay in solution and the scab dissolved and would peel off...there was another layer underneath of little white dots. The HP/H2OB dissolves the outer layer of the mite and turns it white so it is easy to see it. The oregano oil did seem to make it easier to pick out the mite with a small needle. It may immobalize it temporarily or permanently kill it if you can get the oregano to saturate it. It may be the layer under it didn't get the OO. I wonder if the OO with DMSO might get down deeper. I seem to have several layers.

Hope this helps. I continue to try to stay on top of my infestation. My feeling is that when you get every one of them out of an area, the skin clears up quickly. It's just how do we get rid of them all at the same time... this is the maddening question of a terrifying experience.

I thiink boosting the immune system is essential.
