Susie. He said 3 drops, but I think he meant 3 oz. It's just a little mis-speak, which he does on occasion. You can look at the glass and the amount of water he poured into it to determine what he meant. At most 3/4 of a glass, but I am not sure that's an 8 oz glass. His original protocol on
www.jimhumble.biz was in "half a glass of water" (which was indicated as 4 oz) - that was before he added the DMSO for abscess.
The issue with storing is... DMSO may affect MMS - originally he said that it "killed MMS in 4 hours" - but lately Jim has indicated that they've gotten another "brand" of DMSO that is not causing that kind of reaction. Personally, If I did my teeth and dipped my brush in and out of the mix, I'd want to do a fresh one each time. I guess you could get around it by having a second glass to rinse the brush in before you dipped it back in the mix. If you choose to store it between brushings, I'd keep it tightly capped and in the fridge (MMS is affected by UV light) - and watch to see that the yellow color remains pretty constant. If it lightens up a bunch, you need a fresh batch, because it means the chlorine dioxide gas has been "used" or inactivated.
I have not done this - maybe someone else has. Or maybe someone else has a suggestion for the taste. Part of the problem is getting a "pure" version of DMSO - mine is 99.99% DMSO - but some people's body chemistry creates the odor/taste. Not everyone has that reaction. I used it on my finger and didn't get a taste at all. If it were me - and I had a mouthful of infection, it would be a trip to the dentist or this. I am NOT very fond of dentists <G>. My suggestion would be to try it.
